Very poor service from the billing team. Several bills were not sent out to us, or post was returned. There were no follow-up calls, nothing, yet they very quickly referred them to Debt Collectors for repayment, with us having no knowledge of outstanding payments.

After contacting the hospital, I was told I needed to complete a form just to know what bills were outstanding - again, the form was not posted to us.

The final cherry on the cake was them sending us a bill for a date of service in May, with a Bill date of end of June, that had already been sent to the debt collectors! ridiculous!

Currently I would not recommend the hospital to anyone and from now on will no longer be using it.

Phone contact is appalling, no-one wants to help. All our bills were paid when sent to us! Email? no-chance, these people don't work in the 21st century. Oh, but you can fax things over. Because people use fax still...

I wouldn't recommend this hospital at all - I'd rather pay to travel further than use the hospital next door to where we live from now.

Useless...

EDIT: Guess what! Still not sorted. No real desire to help, I'm actively trying to pay my bills and they don't seem to want the money! what a joke!

Great ER experience. I came here for my sister who had a swollen arm after falling. It was on a Saturday around noon, and we were directly taken in and only waited 20 minutes to get the X-ray. All the staff was very welcoming, nice and understanding, especially since we were on vacations from France.
All of that took less than 2 hours, which from my perspective is very efficient.

I have been taking my son for Speech therapy for about 2 years now and he has made a lot of progress and I couldn't be happier with the outstanding work from the staff particularly with Pam she is the best!!. However I was just informed that we now have to enter the hospital to get our parking validated this change will really make our visits more challenging specially with a Disabled child and coming all the way from Kearny on a weekly basis, not sure why they can't continue with the current system in place it really makes things much easier.

My wife and I entered the hospital for the second time in 2 months (Not having a great summer). Once again we were treated by Dr. Kristen Wilkes and her assistant, nurse (name escapes me, white man, 30s neatly trimmed beard from Paterson NJ). They were so wonderful, that at one point we forgot we were in an emergency room. They had us in and out within an hour, with an action plan to correct the problem. I'm not sure how you hire your employees, but I would like to learn for my company! Thank you again Dr. Wilkes

The emergency room staff gets overwhelmed and annoying when they are crowded on the weekends. Once admitted, the doctors are mostly great, had a misdiagnosis, but the referral they gave cleared that up. Nurses are good, food is good. Not the worst hospital along the Jersey side of the Hudson.
