About JPS Health Network

JPS Health Network was established in 1877 to serve the communities of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. Now JPS Health Network is operating more than 40 community and school-based health centers including 20 clinics based on school campuses. The hospital provides emergency services and trauma care and is considered the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tarrant County and the only psychiatric emergency services site. JPS is a certified Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited American College of Surgery Cancer Center. JPS is also a teaching site and trains physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and other health care workers. The hospital is equipped with 573 beds in the facility.
