Don't think the nurses could have been kinder! They were so nice and efficient that they almost seemed like perfect androids. Not even the most awful patients managed to ruffle them and they gave everyone kind attention .I entered through the ER on 7/23, got checked out by a doctor, had a CT scan and an ultrasound and bloodtests and IV antibiotics all in under 2 hrs! That would have taken all night in any other ER. Then I was quickly admitted, spent the night in a clean and comfy single room.and had an appendectomy the very next day and am home today 7/25. The hospital worked like a well oiled machine. The people were the kindest strangers I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The place was super clean and they paid tremendous attention to detail checking everything 3 to 4 times .I will praise Kaiser to everyone I know.

Delivered my first baby here, and it was the best experience. Once I was placed in the delivery room my nurse never left my side only to go to her break (almost forcefully because she was so attentive to my baby and I). She tried her best to make my delivery the most comfortable and always asked how I felt.
After delivering my son and I were transferred to the recovery room, where I was also attended by an amazing nurse. She not only helped me breastfeed my baby but taught my husband and I how to bathe him. The nurse was so full of energy and joy, she was definitely some one who loved her job.
Thanks to their help I had a wonderful delivery.

My aunt had knee surgery today and was out by 1 p.m. We then had to wait until 5:45 p.m. to see her because although there were rooms available there was no nurse available to transfer her. They are understaffed. Once in the room only two people were allowed to stay with her, which I do understand. I was asked to wait in the "nice lobby area" However, the "Nice lobby area" that the nurse directed me to has no seats available. It's full, there are people sitting on the floor and others standing. I've always had great experiences at other Kaiser locations and never would have thought that the Baldwin park hospital was the exception. It's very disappointing.

This is a 5 star facility but I gave it a 3 because of my experience with the Optometry Dept. The reception staff, friendly but unprofessional. Carrying on loud conversations about your personal business is annoying for those of us having to sit in close proximity. I've never experienced this before during all my years comimg here and I can tell you I don't like it. I'm literally sitting here listening to this nonsense while I'm writing this review.

The laboratory at Kaiser Baldwin Park makes me wish it was possible to give negative numbers. I think all Kaiser executives should be required to have their blood drawn at Kaiser Baldwin Park. All of those poor people sitting there, sick, for a hour. If the news media would like to see a great example of how people of different socioeconomic groups are treated at Kaiser, take have a crew visit the draw station at Kaiser Anaheim at the exact same time they visit Kaiser Baldwin Park. Shameful.
