This isnt a good hopsital, they should really revaluate the employees up to the doctors.
Some of the nurses and doctors in the night shift try to avoid their patients as much as they can. My daughter was released with out fully being examined and i know she needed more care then what she had recieved. For the reason of realising as much patient's as they can thats mest up. they knew what they signed up for i just dont know why they dont take it seriouse. Im never coming back.
Avoid this hospital at all cost. I went in because I was having an asthma attack. I would not have gone if I didn't lose my inhaler at work. I waited about 30 minutes to finally be called. In that 30 minutes my asthma attack subsided. I let the front desk nurse know that I don't need treatment just a prescription for a new inhaler because I lost mine. Anyways the nurse brought me to the fast track room where I waited over 2 and a half hours. The doctor never showed up my symptoms went away completely. I was feed up with how long the Doctor was taking even though the nurse told him all I needed was a new inhaler. That I decided to leave. The nurse couldn't even find the doctor to let him know. This place is so unorganized it's pathetic. The rooms are also so dirty no wonder they keep losing patients. Literally 2 rooms down someone was dying code blue and the nurses and doctors took their lovely time to go save the dying lady. UCLA is a much better hospital. The last time I lost my inhaler. The nurse went back and talked to the doctor. She got him to prescribe me a new inhaler to replace my lost one in about 30 minutes. They were also super busy too with other patients and still the doctor prescribed me my inhaler without having to go in any room or wait for a mass amount of time. Beware of Kaiser.
In 2010 I smashed my left big toe at home and had to go to Kaiser emergency because my toe would not stop bleeding...the doctor there was excellent, little did I know it was found by x-ray that I shattered the bones in my big toe... I cannot remember his name, but he did a small surgery on my left toe, put in around 20 stitches on the broken nail bed, he did a fantastic job. Also, my mom just had surgery on her lung to remove cancer, and she is doing well a year later at 85 yrs old.
I am currently in the emergency waiting room with my 6 year old. We came in around 4:15am because she had a fever of 104.5°F. It is currently 6:45am and we have still not been called and now we are being told wait times could be up to 4 hours. For a hospital that boasts about their service they have fallen very short. If their were 0 stars id give them that rating they deserve. I dont know whats worse some little hole in the wall clinics or this ridiculous hospital. Such a shame too because ive been a kaiser member since a child and now their customer service has gone out the window.
Worst hospital ive ever been to. I waited three hours after explaining difficulty breathing high fever major chest pain while people continued to go ahead of me asked to speak to management she said it could be a few more hours please DO NOT COME HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! If I could do zero stars I would!
