Recently had the misfortune of having Strep Throat, the last thing I wanted to do was to go into the influenza filled hospital and catch something else. Was not aware of the phone apps. WONDERFUL. Talked to the MD, got my prescriptions a little later without a problem, or exposure to something else.
I went to the E.R. at midnight....and although I would give the lobby staff and intake a 1 star for lack of empathy, tact, and coordination.....their doctors and nurses inside the ER were absultely WONDERFUL. If you are lucky enough to get Dr.Calvin Kong, he is the most nicest, tactful, and compassionate Dr. IVE ever met. Ben (staff nurse) was wonderful as well. Xray folks....everyone in there was so attentive and pleasant.
It has been three and a half days since I called to get my prescriptions transferred. They STILL have not been filled so now I am without my medication for the next month. It took calling three people before I could be transferred to someone who could help me file a formal complaint, and that complaint won't be resolved for A MONTH she said. How does that equal effective patient care? This is some B.S. level insurance bureaucracy and breakdown in care.
Overall very nice built facility. Super safe and friendly staff. Makes me feel right at home with the click of a button to get into contact via email with your personal doctor.👍

I was extremely let down coming to this hospital. I am a delivery driver and my back went out so I had a friend rush my to an emergency room. I chose Kaiser because I was familiar and trusting of this hospital since I use to be a member. I was in so much pain I couldn't walk so I was wheel chaired into the emergency room then I was taken to rapid care where Dr. Johnson poked me in the back with his fingers then came back with papers for me to fill out. He wasn't helpful at all, and basically rushed me out without providing assistance. What a waste of money and time. I am shocked and appalled at the way I was treated. I will definitely think twice before going to Kaiser again.
