I hate to leave negative reviews but after my 3rd bad experience I figured it was time to help others with a review. I consistently have difficulty with this pharmacy refilling my prescriptions on time and have spent over an hour on multiple occasions waiting to pick up prescriptions that Kaiser told me were ready when I placed a refill on them (I always refill 3-7 days before pickup and wait for a call or pickup date from the online refill service). Staff is nice enough but if they can’t get their jobs done in a timely manner then it still harms people, particularly those who do not have the luxury of living close by or being able to drive themselves back multiple times in case of an RX blunder.
I am not sure if they are busier or just more disorganized than other Kaiser pharmacies in the area, but I am not coming back. Kaiser Daly City has been a better option lately and will be my choice going forward.
I was asked to come for a blood pressure screening and the whole process took almost 2 hours! A simple checkup like a blood pressure screening should not take that long - it disincentives patients from actually coming in to monitor their health. The facilities are nice, but the fact that I've had to wait so long for simple checkups (whether it is because Kaiser has a huge patient backlog, or are understaffed, who knows) leaves a bad taste.

In my opinion, this location provided poor service and has questionable practices.
IN 2001 I WAS CRUSHED IN MALFUNCTIONING ELEVATOR AT THE KAISER IN SSF, OFF OF EL CAMINO REAL. BEING THAT THIS WAS A PREMISE LIABILITY INJURY THE DOCTORS WERE TOLD TO NOT DIAGNOSE MY INJURIES, TO PLAY IT OFF LIKE I WAS OK. SINCE THEY DIDN'T WANT ME TO FILE A CLAIM AGAINST THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY. I FOUND OUT THAT KAISER EMPLOYEES HAD BEEN INJURED BY THISHE ELEVATOR BUT WERE AFRAID TO PURSUE INJURIES IN FEAR OF LOSING THEIR JOBS. NONE OF THE DOCTORS WANTED TO
HELP ME, THEY ALL SAID I'D BE FINE. JOCELYN VISTAN OF MEMBER SERVICES (2001) WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP ME, I TRUSTED HER AND IN THE END SHE BETRAYED ME. I BEGGED FOR HELP. DAMAGED SPINE AND SHOULDER. SIXTEEN YEARS LATER AND I'M A CRIPPLE, UNABLE TO WALK OR STAND WITHOUT EXCRUCIATING PAIN, INCONTINENT AND OVERWEIGHT BECAUSE OF THE PAIN IN TRYING TO EXERCISE. DEPRESSION AND DESPAIR. I'VE GIVEN UP ON LIFE. KAISER SCREWED ME OVER. I ALSO BLAME MEDI-CAL FOR NOT STICKING UP FOR ME (SANDRA SHREWRY, THE DIRECTOR OF MEDI-CAL), AN ELITIST SNOB WHO FAILED TO HELP THOUSANDS. NOW I'M ALMOST 70 AND DISABLED, $400 A MONTH SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE WITHOUT SECONDARY INSURANCE. NONE OF THE BAY AREA SPINAL SURGEONS WANT TO HELP ME, THEY REALLY DON'T WANT MEDICARE PATIENTS, EVEN IF MY SON PAYS THE 20% ON HIS AMERICAN EXPRESS. I'VE BEEN TO THREE FACILITIES, WITH THEIR TRICKS AND SCAMS USED TO DISCOURAGE MEDICARE RECIPIENTS. NOTHING HAS CHANGED AT THIS KAISER.
