Kaiser Foundation Hospital – West La

If you have to go to the ER I highly recommend Kaiser. I spent almost one week here in the ER room due to an infection I was fighting . From the moment I checked in till the end the staff was amazing.Doctors , Nurses, medical Associates are friendly and had great bed side manners . The wait time was not long at all, the hospital is clean and there is parking. I want to say a special thank you to Dr. Muneer Hameer: You are an amazing doctor. I thank you for helping me. I am glad that during such a difficult time you were there to help me .

ER was quick, efficient, friendly, clean and professional. When in about 3am and was out no later than 4am. 24hr pharmacy filled prescription within 15 mins and was home no later 5.

Sent upstairs downstairs and back twice, only to get a strep test. There is no communication or followthrough from doctor to nurse to lab. Lack thereof has caused me to spend all day running around this hospital instead of taking the day off work to just rest in bed which probably would have been more beneficial to my health.

I was honestly surprised at the quality of care I received here. I fully expected to wait for hours because it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. The staff was very professional - even when dealing with some difficult patients multiple times that night. They had a very wide range of knowledge as well and knew exactly how to triage and treat my off-the-wall health issues. I would definitely recommend this ER. I think I was here for a max of 1.5 hours and they got me into a room very quickly.
