feedback about Lake Norman Regional Medical Center
I’ve always had a wonderful experience each and every time I’ve needed Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, whether for surgery, ER, testing and even in Critical Care. We’ve lived here for 11 years and both my husband and I have required their services a lot over those years. Was just in this past weekend at the ER for an infection stemming from a cut on the bottom of my foot. They’re kind, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in medical need. I have skin cancer surgery coming up in September and my husband is having shoulder surgery in October there. We would not continue to go if we had not received top notch service in the past.
I have had two major procedures (Spline and heart) and two minor procedures done over the past two years and I couldn't be happier. Doctors & surgeons did an awesome job, I had to stay overnight after each of the major procedures and the nursing staff were all great. I have other long term medical problems and never had any complications post surgery. All of the doctors associated with Lake Norman Medical Center have been terrific!
I was visiting from Florida and had an emergency.I was admitted in the hospital. ER staff and doctors were outstanding and very caring. Dr Patel went above and beyond to get all tests needed done even though it was a holiday day. I appreciate all staff and doctors for their courtesy and care.
I can honestly say I am very satisfied with my care at this hospital. After arriving at the ER in respiratory distress the promptness of diagnosis and high level of care was extraordinary compared to other hospitals (including "highly rated") I have been treated at. Every staff member I encountered exhibited a high level of professionalism and caring. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay in this facility. Highly recommend!
I took my mother to Lake Norman hospital on April 29, 2019 little did I know this would be the last time I saw my mother. We came in for a heart cauterization. my mother went back at 9 am and at 10:30 I heard the code blue.
I ran to the front desk and ask one of the ladies what that was and ask her to please call and check on my mother. She called and checked on mom ,I was told he was still working on her. I went and sat back down and 15 minutes later the doctor wanted to talk to me. I rushed back and this doctor told me he had severed my mothers artery he said there was no time to wait. I told him to airlift her right now to Charlotte he said there was no time .
I told him to do it now !!
I would take that chance..He went back in and proceeded to work on her and it 1:45 my mother was pronounced dead. 😢
