feedback about Lake Norman Regional Medical Center
My only experience with LNR was in labor and delivery and it was wonderful. The nurses and doctors who have to deliver my daughter and took care of my recovery and stay the days following were sweet, beyond helpful and awesome all around. I think the food from the cafeteria was great as was the lady bringing it up. I can’t say enough good things about everyone up on the maternity floor.
My mom was transported to the ER recently & then admitted to the hospital. They quickly diagnosed her & sent her upstairs for further observation. During her stay the CNAs & nurses have been attentive & caring. Also the rehab staff were very caring & the food was good. The doctors have been informative. However, We have had trouble getting authorization for transfer to a rehab facility which seems to be due to insurance. This has caused a longer stay in hospital than is necessary.
I am very impressed with Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. We were here for an outpatient procedure and everyone was very organized and caring. The staff in the waiting area takes the time and great care to keep you informed of how your loved one is doing at all times. I've never been to a place that took so much time to let you know constantly. There is also a tv that tells you where your loved one is at all times. The patient has a number that only you and your family knows. So looking at the tv for your number makes everything very private. The doctor will come out to talk to the family and if the conversation needs to be very long or private he/she will take you to a private room to talk to you. Great job! The cafeteria didn't have the biggest selection of food, but what we did have was excellent! The nurses and doctors worked well together and were very respectful to us as well as each other. We would come here again for our medical needs.
Worst place to go to my 2 month old is sick and the woman told me they can’t heat up my baby’s bottle because it’s a private break room. I would give zero stars if I could.
We took my daughter there last afternoon because she had an abscess. 22 months old. Waited 4 hours to be seen and another 1 hour to be discharged. Left around midnight.
Doctor didn’t even run a culture on the abscess—called the pediatrician this morning and he should have.
Went to the pharmacy this morning to fill some antibiotics and the prescription was filled incorrectly.
I will never go to this hospital again. I’m appalled at the treatment we were given by the nurses and the nurse practitioner.
1 Star because I can’t leave 0.
