The emergency room is a joke! Dr Cunningham? Even bigger joke. My husband is in sever mouth and ear pain and when I start talking he wants to put his finger in my face and say he can talk for himself. So if your in pain don't let anyone talk for you even if you ask someone to talk for you. You will be nothing but disrespected. My husband don't even put his finger in my face. Then we had to explain things to him more than once since he didn't seem to understand what we are talking about. So if you hear this drs name run for the other direction. He is literally a 7ft tall child who has no idea what he is doing. And he is disrespectful in the process. Once again lake Wales hospital showing me they don't do anything to help people.
I can see why it's one star. I was transferring a patient to 2nd floor psych unit. The staff seemed not approachable. They seemed like they didn't like there job. Nurse snitch on other employees about sitters using cellphone but use them at the nurses station. And when you a complaint about an employee they take the employee side not yours. Very bad place.
because the hospital is a joke especially the emergency room actually that's the only place I've ever been you come in they diagnose you it takes two to three hours to even release you after they say you are fine or you're okay to go home and release you don't they are not good with children at all are not two children friendly and sometimes I feel like they under diagnose a child this is the worst hospital I have ever been to and this is why I would drive the extra mile to go to Lakeland for my children or any of my family from here on out this is the most worst Hospital ever and I don't recommend it for nobody
Great emergency room. Dr. B. Carson and her staff are wonderful. Very professional and attentive to my needs. Shortest wait time before being seen I have ever experienced.
I’d give more stars if they were available. I was rear ended in a car accident last night and was in a lot of pain when I arrived to the Emergency Room. I was treated with respect and courtesy from the moment I walked in the door. The first thing they asked me when the checked me in was, “What can we do for you today?” The young lady that checked me in expressed a genuine concern, clearly explained the process and eased my anxiety. I may have waited 5 minutes before being called back. Luis was very caring and kind. He asked me about the accident and took my vitals before taking me to an exam room. He clearly explained the process and what I could expect in the meantime. A few minutes later the Nurse Practitioner Barbara was in to see me. She was very friendly and nice too. She thoroughly examined me, but was very gentle. Before leaving she explained what she would have the nurse give me for pain and needed a CT scan. Next another nurse came in and gave me a shot to relieve my pain. He explained how the injection site would feel, how long before I could expect some relief, and how much longer before they come in for the CT scan. It was just as he said. The lady from imagining came and got me. She was very sweet and easy with me both going and coming back. She said we could expect to wait an hour on the results. When they were back Luis came in with an ice pack for me and explained the results and how to care for my injury. My entire visit was less then 2 hours and everyone I cane in contact with was very kind and caring. Thank you for the care and attention I received last night. I am so grateful.
