We have always enjoyed our interactions with Lake Regional Health System. They have put on great events like the Kids Fest and other Health Fairs. My wife has birthed two out of our four kids there. The other two were born in Overland Park, KS and St. Louis, MO. Our experience here in Osage Beach rivaled and was better in many aspects. We are grateful for the care we have received here. -Thank you

Communications with Records is awful. Called to get instructions to get my husband records and was told all I needed was the Authorizations disclosure. So I got it and filled it out. Drove 30 miles over to the hospital only to be told no you need a Power of Attorney too. Asked, why I was not told that when I called twice! They said oh records wouldn't have known that. I said "shouldn't they be trained to give all correct information" . Rude treatment by the nasty volunteer guy too. We are changing doctors and hospital today! Don't need this kind of treatment at our ages. We need better at the Lake. Day 2 Records Manager reviewed my complaint and took immediate actions. We talked, she understood my position and apologized to me. She assured me that this would not happen again and offered to take care of my needs herself. Which, she did and also offered information to me to further protect my rights and records. Excellent service and work ethics from her.

Caring people. Fast service. Our hospital have not only grew over the years - It's service has improved 100 % !! We are now connected ( by ) internet to Columbia University Hospital!! To me this is judge - in better care. The last few times I've went too Lake Regional Hospital my visit was much faster than a visit at the doctor's office !! I'm very proud of the growth an improvement.

Went to the ER on a Friday morning. Got right in and was in a bed with an IV going in no time. Went from feeling stressed and in pain to a feeling of everything will be ok. ER Dr was very kind, and explained what the plan was. He even called my surgeon in KC to discuss my case. I ended up having surgery a few hours after arriving. This was the best experience I have had in a hospital. Everyone was so nice, efficient and I was well taken care of for the 2 days I was there. The person that checked me in, the nurses and CNAS and also the volunteers.

The latest I was told is that Lake Regional has directed their physicians to spend no more than 15 minutes per patient. That's not only dangerous, but outrageous . Patients deserve a thorough examination. Health insurance companies should investigate this matter.
