feedback about Laredo Medical Center
I would give this place a zero, first and last time I ever come to this place. I never go to the ER but decided to go because I was in extremely severe and after waiting 4+ hours I left. They never did anything to help me, I big waste of my time. Also this place is a mess, trash everywhere.
Its a great place to go and get healed by some of the best caring personal in Laredo
The hospital is great, the staff can work on being a bit friendlier and welcoming. I do not recommend the phlebotomists there, everytime my daughter and I have gone to get blood work done, they had to poke both of our arms and still move the needle around to get a vein. Other than that, the hospital is great.
My dad was there 3 days lost 30 pounds and was put on the operation table for over an hour and the doctor never showed up. My dad after complaining was kicked of the hospital in the middle of the night. He needed a pace maker because his heart is not beating strong enough to push the blood to his internal organs. Drove from Ohio to bring him home... God, fix those workers, someone may die due to negligence.
Very disappointed with the hospital staff. My mom has been an in and out patient for 20 years due to her kidney failure, dialysis and other minor things. Never have I been this dissaponted until now! They have so many new nurses that are not that knowledgeable, they don't want to learn even though there is a lot to learn with every individual patient. The less work for them the better. They don't express care for the patient. My mother is an elderly and has tried to communicate her needs and they just don't listen especially when I'm not there. I addressed an issue with the charge in icu cause apparently the nurse she had at the time, seemed for everything to be off his hands, so I had to communicate with the charge nurse Ed. And I overheard him say she que"despapaye" in reference to communicating my mother's needs with another department. Seriously very disappointed, they hardly have real qualified caring nurses especily charge nurses. Methodist hospital or any other should come to Laredo and bring in qualified individuals to Laredo.
