feedback about Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Inc
I took my mother to the ER at Laughlin with shortness of breath and weakness. BP was very high and heart rate was very low. The physican Alan Jasper gave direct to inject furosimide in her iv for fluid retention and sent her home and gave instructions to double her dose of furosimide at home and limit fluid in-take.
My mother got much worse over the next couple of days. We went to ER and she was immediately admitted and had surgery to put in a pacemaker.
Alan Jasper should not be allowed to make any type of medical decisions or give directions! He is very unqualified, a dangero to humans and he was very arrogant!
Worst hospital in TN right before JCMC. My granny would still be alive if it wasn’t for them. Nurses are plain rude and don’t sterilize properly. Doctors don’t know anything and have no clue what they are doing when it comes to operations. If you go into this hospital you have to wear a mask to prevent getting sick or wait hours just to see someone. If you live in Greeneville and need medical attention either stay home and get the same service from a friend or go to Tacoma. Anything is better than choosing to deal with Laughlin. Ballard Health is a joke.
A very reliable for profit business with a few very good physicians.
I had an MRI at Laughlin in April 2018. All staff were professional, caring, and exceeded my expectations. My issue is with their billing. I paid up front for the service because I could save 10%.... who wouldn't. Well they also billed my insurance company. When insurance paid, they paid $510 less than I did... I have spoken to Laughlin/BALLAD Health no less than 7 times since then trying to get a refund of the $510 which they agree is owed to me. Today is September 7th 2018 and I have yet to receive a call back or a refund. IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE - DO NOT PAY UP FRONT!!!
Still here... So far, we have been here for 6 hours. I would suggest traveling to a hospital a bit further away... Unless you enjoy sitting in a hospital chair for hours!
