Worst experience ever... took my toddler and the way that he was spoken to was unbelievable. My son didn't have the flu but yet they didn't say or even try to figure out why was he getting fevers nor did they prescribe him anything. First hospital that says so little and do so little.. I will say only one nurse was professional and caring. Btw they should have a separate emergency division just for children.
The wait time is rediculious. They only take your blood and blood pressure and then you sit for like 3 hours to get called. I had to leave because they were so bad. Next time im going to a better and faster ER.
I've been here twice recently. If was done the first time I came, more than likey I wouldn't have had to come right back. The staff was nice first visit but the second visit the staff was unprofessional, lacked empathy and careless. The room I went to the tech forgot to remove the dirty IV bag. I mean harmless mistake but then she took blood left the tubes in the room, had me leave her urine and left that as well. Maybe my mistake was telling them what was wrong and they treated me as such but I also told them the symptoms I was having this time as well. I'll just follow up with my primary doctor and hopefully that'll keep me from having to have to go to any emergency room for my situation again.
P.S. a nurse informed me of the closing of this hospital next month. It's going to be an emergency center only like bowie medical center. I hope they hire a more caring team.
Took me in almost immediately. Most personnel friendly and attentive.
Nurses especially so. Couple were grumpy but maybe had a bad day.
Terrible impatient services. Language barrier [staff not understanding spoken english/or speaking good english]. Nursing under staffed. They lost/threw away some of my belongings. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
