Never again will I bring my baby here. I took my daughter to her primary Dr during early morning to which they had me go to Hobbs ER since she was showing signs of dehydration. Waited over 30 mins to be seen only to be thrown in a room with no additional chair, just the bed. Waited two hours in the room, no nurse or Dr ever came to check on us. I HAD TO LEAVE THE ROOM TO GO ASK SOMEBODY WHEN ARE THEY GONNA CHECK ON MY DAUGHTER!! Mind you, we went in for dehydration. Dr finally came in, rude as hell. Told me they would give her zofran and Apple juice and send her home. No tests ran, nothing was diagnosed.

Fast forward to several hours later. I'm leaving Denver City ER where they ran every test possible. My daughter has bronchitis and a viral infection and needed an IV. Sometimes it's better to drive a little futher to receive excellent care.

ARRIVED AT 8:50 on 2/9/19 Carla had me fill out my paper work so I'm like ok theres not alot of people this may go quick. Mind you my husband is helping me walk I could barely walk hold myself up and was in tears there was no wheelchairs either. Some more people come and I'm sitting there crying a older man who you can see definitely had mental problems said he was going to kill himself needed to be seen..Was told Sit down fill out paperwork is what one other older lady says. You can tell he definitely had issues. Everyone is getting called back but me mind you it's already about 10:20 I ask the customer service lacking girls why am I being over looked their response is "They dont us tell anything back there" instead of let me check mam anything!! I said so basically I've been sitting here all this time patiently and what your saying my pain is not important right!? No answer from them but what they did like doing thru the whole night is putting their papers up to their faces and laughing behind them about the patients there. A lady with a baby a fever of 102 went in and she walked out because for the infant who had a fever that high she wasn't important enough an infant.!? After I yelled to them to call their nurse so I could speak to him he yelled something from the stall and they laughed yet again. Finally 25 or so min later they call me and the man who had mental issues was still there in the waiting room noticeably bothering the patients walking around barefooted eating rambleming on. FINALLY GOT CALLED BACK AT 10:48 mind you I can barely walk in tears crying the nurse peeks his head thru the door and doesnt say let me get you a wheelchair he just tucked his head back in like a turtle and waited the 2 min it took me to get there. He asked questions vitals temp and asked me why do you think it's your back because I've had two back surgeries and I know the pain from previous experience!! Then he says let me get you a wheelchair he puts me in room 4 in a dark room did t turn on the light said stay here the doc will be here didnt ask if I wanted a blanket nothing threw me there and disappeared no nurse came to check on me ask questions everyone just walked passed thru ITS NOW 11:40 Still no nurse or doctor I tell my husband I cant wait anymore I need to be seen let's go he helps me up and I tell him please just bring the car I have so much anger in me as I'm passing the nurse station with tears noticeable having trouble walking they ask who's that? the guy nurse says that's room #4 obviously I was forgotten about because I was in the dark room in the corner. WALKING OUT STILL not once did they ask me if I wanted to stay let me get you a wheelchair not ask me one question they just put their heads down their was about 4 or 5 at that station not one question just went about their night. So now I'm on my way to NOR LEA in Lovington and they get me in with in the first 15 min and hook me up and proceed how a hospital staff should be.
Lea regional lacks alot and their nurses lack compassion customer service they need to be retrained yall are still down hill. Never again will I go back to yall. And Ps the mental patient that was their as I was walking out still hadnt been see his wallet belongings were just thrown on the floor.

I had an outpatient procedure and I had the BEST Care. The nurses, CRNA and physician were all excellent. Very personable, very caring and very efficient!

Always such a long wait and just waiting in there can make you irritated. Then the workers look like they’ve lounged around for a while. I get they work hard but if I’m having an emergency and I wait for 2 hours, it’s ridiculous.
