Lee's Summit Medical Center

From the moment we walked through the doors, LSMC staff went out of their way to be courteous and helpful. Linda in Admissions was great. She took time to explain things. She told me Faye was in the Lab and would be drawing my blood. Faye was super! So nice, so professional. She even walked me back to the waiting area to meet my husband. Even prior to my meeting with Linda, when I had turned in my admission tablet, staff came to tell me it would be just a few moments until it was my turn. And by the way, the cleanliness of the hospital was excellent. I'm a retired RN, and all these things I've mentioned mean a lot to me, because I know what it takes for it all to come together. Congratulations on having a well run hospital staffed with above average employees.

My first visit to Lee's Summit Medical was a great experience. I went in, filled out my paperwork on what looked like an iPad, which took about 2 minutes, then waited only a few more minutes before the nurse called my name and took me back to the procedure room. She explained everything that was going to happen. The doctor came in and introduced himself. My experience was very good with this hospital and the staff. I was impressed.

Emergency room visit for my hundred year old father, John William Mitchell after a fall. He was evaluated in a very timely manor and was released after about 3 hours. I really like Lees Summit Medical Center because there is no or very little wait to be seen. Everyone was very respectful and friendly.

Everyone is friendly, professional and helpful. They seem to enjoy their jobs! The process is very streamlined and fast. Thank you Latosha in radiology for helping me and making me feel so at ease. She was great!

My visit to the ER was the best experience I’ve ever had, hands down. It was only the second time I’ve been there and both times were amazing. They got me in right away, we’re very caring and supportive and really took their time to listen and acknowledge me as a patient. I live 45 minutes away and had gone to my local ER first. I was in excruciating pain and was told I would still have at least a two hour wait. They were also condescending and rude. So we drove 45 minutes to Lee’s Summit Medical Center because my experience with them the first time had been so good. The fact that they post the approximate wait time online is amazing as well. I will go the LSMC from now on unless I don’t have a choice! Thank you so much to the nurses and doctor for setting the example and bar so high!
