The doctor had nothing but rude comments and acted as if he knew my husband and I’s Life and said some very mean things. He was very unprofessional by the way he spoke and he jotted down notes on a piece of brown paper towel they have there by the sinks?? I went there because I wanted to make sure my baby was okay because I am nine months pregnant and all he did was antagonize us. There is a reason I’m delivering elsewhere because that hospital is a joke and this is not the first time it’s been bad it’s like all the time. Don’t get me wrong there are nice people there like the lady who stitched my husband up and what not but 90% of the time the experiences going there are terrible
Horrible care. Emergency room doctor asked me why I called an ambulance. I was very dizzy and had abdominal pain and fever. I live alone and have no family. All my neighbors that speak English were at work hence no way to get to hospital short of driving myself while I was very ill. I was admitted for intravenous antibiotics for 3 days.the nurses on the fourth floor were wonderful. The hospitalised sub par. I had a very hard time getting nurse practioner to correctly transmit my discharge prescriptions to my pharmacy. I ended up at home for 26 hours with no medications. Very incompetent.
Wish I could give it 0 starts. My 1 year old was admitted here with a very high fever and wouldn't stop screaming. They called children protective services on her dad! Said shed she'd been sick for awhile and made him talk to a social worker. She is up to date on all shots and goes to the doctors alot I would know I take her. I just had a emergency c section and live a hour away from this hospital so it took me awhile to get there with my newborn. They were SO rude on the 4th floor. The WORST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER GOT FROM A HOSPITAL. KEPT MY DAUGHTER 3 DAYS ONLY TO SAY I CAN'T STAY THE NIGHT WITH MY NEWBORN AND THEN SAID IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT CALLING CPS IM GUESSING AFTER THEY GOT AHOLD OF HER DOCTORS. SAID HER WHITE BLOOD CELL COUNT WAS HIGH AND SHE HAD AN INFECTION COULDN'T TELL US WHAT WAS WRONG! they did a spinal tap and my daughter still cant stand straight! They were all rude as HELL to me asking why I didnt rush up there and not answering any of my questions. The hosptial WAS FILTHY! The bathroom was disgusting! NEVER EVER WILL I REFER THIS HOSPITAL OR GO AGAIN MY POOR DAUGHTER WASNT BATHED, CHANGED SHEETS, OR EVEN GIVEN FOOD HER AGE GROUP. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Dr Varhade and nurse pam. Shame on them for treating a mother of a 1 year old patient and father like this! I am usually a very nice and understanding person but this was extreme! And every person I talked to was the same just as rude! I even called the DON director of nursing and she was no help. Im going to the news.
Thank you for assessing my injury and giving me the care I needed. After seeing firsthand the seriousness of many of the patients you see at one time, I now understand how fortunate we are to have these services in our town. I also understand why many of the non-emergency cases may need to wait in order for you to save lives. Special thanks to my nurse, Mary, for her compassion and smile!
Went in and sat for hours just for them to tell me the same damn thing I told them that was wrong. They did not diagnose me or tell me what I could do to make my bleeding stop or pain go away. The doctor told me “keep and eye on it and if it gets worse, come back” like if I didn’t think it was bad or an emergency I would not waste 5 hours of my day sitting in your useless ER!!!!
