feedback about Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton
I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital on February 26, 2015 and was unconscious. I was pronounced "Deceased" by a staff member and one Dr. who I cannot find his name, demanded I be placed on the Emergency Flight Helicopter and flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar-crest in Allentown, PA. The helicopter crew and hospital (Cedar-crest) found my heart had stopped beating due to all my blood having drained into my abdomen. I was given 5 units of blood and after 3 tries paddling my heart the doctors were able to get my heart beating again. 4 surgeons worked on me (In a coma) and after 5 days I awakened and the surgeons thought I would have brain damage due to 45 minutes with no blood in my circulatory system, however Cedar-crest's surgeons saved my life for which I am eternally grateful! Hazleton Hospital, well, they gave up and pronounced me deceased! Not a professional hospital at all!

Needs either some time off. Or look for another profession. You are in the business of caring for people. Praying not only for my mother who was in your care but for you as well tonight! May the next person that encounters you receive better customer service and care !
Amazing service. The nurses took very good care of me
The doctor had nothing but rude comments and acted as if he knew my husband and I’s Life and said some very mean things. He was very unprofessional by the way he spoke and he jotted down notes on a piece of brown paper towel they have there by the sinks?? I went there because I wanted to make sure my baby was okay because I am nine months pregnant and all he did was antagonize us. There is a reason I’m delivering elsewhere because that hospital is a joke and this is not the first time it’s been bad it’s like all the time. Don’t get me wrong there are nice people there like the lady who stitched my husband up and what not but 90% of the time the experiences going there are terrible
Horrible care. Emergency room doctor asked me why I called an ambulance. I was very dizzy and had abdominal pain and fever. I live alone and have no family. All my neighbors that speak English were at work hence no way to get to hospital short of driving myself while I was very ill. I was admitted for intravenous antibiotics for 3 days.the nurses on the fourth floor were wonderful. The hospitalised sub par. I had a very hard time getting nurse practioner to correctly transmit my discharge prescriptions to my pharmacy. I ended up at home for 26 hours with no medications. Very incompetent.
