Not sure why the last poster said it was a train wreck from hell but I couldn't disagree more. This is my first time ever being seen here and I if I had to choose a hospital it would definitely be Lexington. I would rather go here then palmetto or providence hospitals, now those are train wrecks! Staff was friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. The overall atmosphere at Lexington was better than any other hospital in the area.

Kind of hard to give a hospital five stars but. about as good of service as you can really expect. Our interaction with staff was friendly, they were very responsive and conscientious. If anyone in my circle ask about Lexington Medical Center, I highly recommend.

I went another hospital (local) 4 weeks prior and they couldn't find out what was wrong with me so when I had the same thing happen I came to Lexington (30+ miles away) and within 4 hours they had me diagnosed and admitted and on an emergency surgery schedule that is after I received IV antibiotics for the night prior to surgery. I was in the hospital for one week and a drain tube in place for a gall bladder removal. Dr Strickland was wonderful and I can not begin to say enough about the staff (every position) of 6 floor north tower. They were the GREATEST. I hope I never need their services again but if I do I will DEFINITELY come here from now.

We are grateful that such a professional and compassionate medical center is located so close. Having personally received exceptional care from ED services to bringing a child into the world, we wouldn't choose to be cared for anywhere else.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE GRASP OF DEATH!
If your illness doesn't kill you the stress of their incapable billing depatment will. After almost a full year of trying to get them to submit our claim properly to insurance I was assured it was complete. Fastforward almost 4 years - and no additional contact they sent us to collections. Because they didn't submit the claim in the appropriate time frame our insurance will not pay it.

Military families, they WILL NOT EVEN TRY TO WORK WITH TRICARE.
