Horrible experience in ER. My husband went in for dizziness , trouble breathing, and vomiting. Staff is rude and automatically assumes nothing is wrong with you. Waited over an hour for doctor and he asks "what do you want me to do " after a heated discussion he finally agrees to do a chest xray and discovers my husband has bronchitis. All the rude nurses can say is oh i guess something is wrong and they laugh. The CNA finally brings in medicine gives my husband half accidentally spills the rest and goes oh well you probably got enough. WORST hospital ever. If possible go to Flagstaff, this hospital is famous for misdiagnosising patients because they dont want to do their job.
Half of the nursing staff is rude as all heck, especially the old white lady who thinks she runs the world from behind that desk. the "doctors" need to be replaced, the whole facility should be shut down. Everyone ends up going to flagstaff anyway.
Terrible experience! I will NEVER bring my children to this hospital! Dr. Dyllon Martini told me not to bring my child into their ER for fevers only to bring him if it hits 105 or higher! I ended up taking my son to Flagstaff where I got the best care! The doctor there told me that this Dr. Martini was completely wrong for telling me that and if my child is running a fever and it concerns me to bring him to Flagstaff and they’ll be happy to take care of him! This hospital is a joke and the Dr. should be ashamed of herself! Terrible terrible experience! I will not trust these people with the lives of my precious boys! I’ll definitely take them to where we get the best care and compassion. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had here, I’ve always kept my mouth shut but I will definitely be spreading the word of how terrible my experience with this Dr. was.
If I could give less than one star I would!I have severe spinal pain, hip pain, joint etc. Last night it got so bad I was crying. I had been on Hydrocodone for several years and decided "myself" that I needed to come off it as I couldn't see myself just taking more and more for pain relief. I went to the ER this morning in really severe pain. The Dr, I believe Dr, Fellows. Was just horrid! I was trying to tel him I had weight loss surgery, and should probably break the pills up or take a liquid form. He just wouldn't listen to me and cut me off, and spoke over me. I told him I thought I was a bit dehydrated, that I've been light headed for a few days and ask when they would set up an IV, he said "you're not getting an IV". He treated me as if I was a street person trying to get drugs!!!!!! I don't drink, party or do drugs. I'm a 63 year old woman who took herself off of the Hydrocodone that had been subscribed for me for the exact reason I was there. I could usually handle it but it was a very, very bad day yesterday, I over did and no matter what I did the pain was excruciating. I couldn't stand, sit, move...nothing helped. This Dr has a lot to learn. My father was a physician and would of never treated a patient this was. He's the worst. If you have to go there, and he's the attending physician, run, don't walk and go to Flagstaff
Ill start with the negative... I wish the staff would knock prior to entering the room. It's very uncomfortable to have people barge in without a notice. The housekeeping staff ignores you altogether and really didn't mind that they are standing between you and your loved ones as they invisibly mop the floor between you. We tried talking with one of these staff members and were ignored for about 3 minutes.
The nurses are very professional as far as care and consistency. The food was great, and the rooms are very well maintained. Overall experience, i give a 3 stars, i think better and more "customer/patient service" training is highly needed.
