This place is the absolute worst. Each time we have came here has been nothing short of despicable. The ER waiting room is never full, yet the waiting time is always over an hour, at minimum. We've left on a couple occasions because we felt like we'd never be seen. I write this as I'm sitting in a room, where no doctor or nurse has checked on us for over an hour.
I don't believe this place has the right to call itself an emergency room. There is no sense of urgency and I feel like someone could actuallyactu waiting to be seen. Providing good service to people seems to be something the city of Lompoc lacks as a whole. I'd skip this place and go to Santa Barbara, if timing permits.
This hospital is the absolute WORST!! The staff is lazy & at times very rude! This was my first & hopefully my last experience with them ever!! I'm sure there are some wonderful people that work there and that enjoy their job, unfortunately, I didn't see any. 😒
They are the worst. The workers are lazy and DONT know what they are doing with there life. The place is dirty and smells like death I hope this hospital closes or does something about this lame excuse of a hospital.
My brother came here as a prisoner, unfortunately, and ws treated so poorly by the nurses. At the end he was changing his own dressings after having emergency thyroid surgery. I get it, he's a prisoner, but he's still a person. They saw a brown skinned man with shackles and treated him that way. As Nurse for over 21 years myself I find this disgusting, unprofessional, and inhumane. All patients shud be treated with the utmost respect and dignity. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
Avoid the Lompoc hospital by any means. The have some shady, highly unethical business practices going on. Beware if you go to the ER, even if the hospital itself is within your insurance network, their doctors they employ are not. Just go to the Santa Maria or Santa Barbara hospital if you can. They can treat much of anything there anyway, most of the people I know that. Go there end up getting sent to Santa Barbara anyway.
