What a shame to have such a beautiful hospital with such horrible staff. I understand 3 hr waits when an Emergency room is crazy, but when there is nobody in the waiting room and you get to the back and there is maybe one patient in a room, what’s the excuse? Then we get back and they make you put a gown on in the bathroom, wait in the hall until they can figure out what room they want you in, then leave you in the room for another hour before even checking in on you! And all this time before you ever see a doctor! The staff is so rude and have no kind of empathy for anyone. They act like you’re a burden to them. The hospital looks amazing but the staff needs a complete overhaul. You would think with all of they’re bad reviews that management would have stepped in and stepped up a long time ago. Lompoc deserves better.

I recently had a major abdominal surgery. Dr. Trujillo and the nursing team in the OB/GYN Dept. have been amazing. I’ve gotten outstanding care here. The hospital is clean, the staff is remarkably caring and kind. Special thanks to Lotta for teaching me her “combat roll” technique to get out of bed with a sore abdominal incision without killing myself. With patience of a Saint I might add. No one ever wants to have major surgery, but the team here made it as comfortable and pleasant as it could be. Speeding me on my way to a full recovery.

I've only had to go to the Emergency room twice in the 6yrs I've lived here but it was decent care

I've been in the CCU since my surgery yesterday morning, but I'm doing well, the wonderful nurses have me comfortable and not suffering in too much pain hooked up to heart monitor, and on oxygen, Lord has truly blessed me with the best nursing team especially the preop nurse Stephanie Bastian, she put my mind at ease, and she truly cares about the patient, Dr Baeke is a true angel the most caring plastic/general surgeon I've ever met, and dr Taglia is also a wonderful general surgeon, and then Dr Ashton a caring, thorough, and comical anesthesiologist. I wanna thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the excellent care I've received so far. Today starts a new healthy life for me. Have a truly blessed day and hug your loved ones and let them know u love them. ➕

Dumbster by all means.... Waited 2 hours be seen in "priority" no one to be seen in the ER waiting room. The front desk seems to be the worst, the lady was rude and was coughing all over our papers. Then I was met by the worst nurses ever they don't know what's going on, just to be x- rayed and told casually "you're fine nothings broken" hours later and then getting called in the morning saying oh by the way your finger is broken you might want to go to your primary doctor. Just the bottom of the barrel people working there. Honestly just go to Santa Maria or Santa Barbara for any medical or test to be done!!! Can't trust simple things to be done here!! would give negative if I could. Seems the only thing they do is gossip about patient's VERY LOUDLY. Also the front end had us sign release forms but guess what they signed them already by "accident" themselves as parents .... I mean just wow everytime I want to give it a try to see if they've improved I'm just let down and the staff gets worse and worse. Honestly just close the whole thing down these people don't take their jobs seriously. 3 words to describe the staff rude, non caring, dumb people
