Some of the nurses and doctors were nice and did their best with what they had. But everything else was the worst. Borderline abusive conditions. I was there 2 days. My room was about 90°. In the first 27 hours I asked for the temperature to be lowered in my room almost hourly. At first I'd get responses like I'll see what I can do. Later in the days some would make comments like what can I do about it. At hour 27 I got out of bed and told a new nurse that if something isnt done right now I want to speak to Management to lodge a complaint. She said I can get you a fan if you want. I asked her why none of the other roughly 20 nurses suggested this. She apologized and said i don't know, they should have. The fan made a world of difference. It's a shame that i had to sit there dreached in sweat for 27 hours. Bonus fact, she came back about and hour later and asked me why i didn't just turn on the air conditioning. Then moved a curtain and said there's one right here. I was shocked. How did nobody offer this as a solution for over a full day?

That's only a small part of my adventure at lower bucks county hospital. I don't have time to go into the rest. I will not return there again.

Caution!

Even if your insurance company says the hospital is in network, some of doctors are out of network.
(No one would have time to find out if your doctor is in network or not at emergency room...)
And they charge more than twice of the average cost of the procedure in the area.

Slow service and the worse part is the Dr diagnosed me with pelvic inflammatory disease😱 and told me to follow up with my OB/GYN, which I did the next day. As soon as she saw me she said “ I don’t think you have pelvic inflammatory disease” and took cultures right away. Test came back and everything was negative including pelvic inflammatory disease. Also the Dr at the ER said I had blood in my urine and when she tested my urine there was no blood. They also gave me a shot in my thigh for pelvic inflammatory disease and a prescription😨 I spent 5 1/2 hours here with wrong diagnosis. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE!

Could I be honest? In 2008 when diagnosed with diabetes at that hospital, they deserved 5 star. Today I went, 1 star!!! you would think they were running a candy store.

My PCP had me go to Lower Bucks ER because they felt something was beyond they're abilities. Having BCBS I figured I was good. The hospital was listed in network. 2 months later I receive a bill from Progressive Emergency Physicians. Well, I as I'm sure many, have been bait and switch. The hospital treatment was in network. However the doctors working in the ER, are not in network. I'm being billed out the wahzoo for just the doctor if which I'm 100% responsible for.

Beware visiting this hospital.
