Had my kidney transplant here back in 1995 was in this hospital like 2 years after1 in n out... Back then Dr. Staff were used to love there job's... I was back in 2015 n recent a month ago. N now staff still great . Dr some are ok but not (PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW) now people in there dont love what they do now. Seems like is 100% run by government insurances Many just come for there CHECKS. I DON'T BLAMED THEM. BUT THE ENVIRONMENT I LIVED IN 1996. IS NOT THERE ANYMORE
I would give them a negative if possible. My daughter ingested a magnet and we had x rays and we wanted them to look over by a GI doctor. They recommended us to get xrays again which is ridiculous for a 3 year old. And then they talked about getting a referral to be seen by a doctor. When asked show us that there is this kind of rule they said its recommended to get a referral which means its not mandatory. At the end of the day we got turned away but i least expected them to treat a life threatening situation so casually.
Our son had to have three surgeries at LPCH back in 2009. The staff is amazing and Dr. Hanly is so kind, sympathetic, and humble. Our son is doing great since the surgery thanks to his skills and those that work with him.
I suggest people go see the score of this hospital on yelp since from my experience the ranking there is a lot more accurate than the one here on google.
Absolutely wonderful staff and facilities. First rate all the way
