My wife, a Military Veteran, had her wrist done and is doing fine. Very caring compared to Northern Rockies Orthopedics, their Dr. Stayner was very rude and belittled my wife and also insulted me. Dr. Stayner needs to take lessons from Marcus Daly Memorial in treating patients with Respect and Care ! Thanks again to Marcus Daly Hospital and its Caring Team!

Our 19 month old son was having a hard time breathing. What they call retracted breathing that all parents are warned about. Went to the clinic, after flu test came back negative, it was recommended to go to the ER. We took him to Community where we were told there was nothing they could do for him unless his condition got worse. It was obvious he had very labored breathing. After being home for a bit, we couldn’t stand to watch him in so much discomfort. After a lot of worry and dilemma we decided to take him to Marcus Daly for a second opinion. Being a Sunday, we had to go to the ER...AGAIN. The diagnosis was the same, but they gave him a simple breathing treatment and within minutes his breathing returned to almost normal. They took the extra care and decided to do a chest x-ray, since his onset was so quick. Looking for any physical obstruction. Luckily that came back negative but confirmed what they had suspected, a viral lung infection. I was outraged that such a simple solution wasn’t administered on our first ER visit at Community. I’m very aware of the misperception of Marcus Daly in the community, but they are the ONLY reason my 19 month old finally got the relief he needed. We are very grateful for the compassionate doctor who understood our worries and to the respiratory therapist, Jay, who was so patient and informative. Thank you Marcus Daly’s ER, I can’t explain the relief and comfort you brought our family after a very long and stressful day.

Great hospital, great staff. My husband and I both had bad experiences at the Catholic hospital in Missoula. Got wonderful care at Marcus Daly. Will always go there first.
