I have lived in Marlborough for 18 years now and every time I needed this hospital whether going to the ER or having emergency surgery they always stepped up to the plate and did a great job! No complaints at all!!

I had a knee replacement there in Nov 2017 and from start to finish (3 days in the hospital) was nothing short of excellent service. The nurses and doctors were great. I've seen many reviews on the ER and my last experience with the ER was in 2016 - I went in at ~9pm and was out by 10:30pm the latest - with a broken foot. I will admit I did not make it to a room but they diagnosed me while sitting in a wheelchair after my XRay sitting in the hallway - fitted me with a boot and off I went. I can only assume it depends on the severity of your wound/issue as to the order in which you get taken in. If I have nothing "major" I head to the Walk-In clinic now and forgo the ER ... not worth the hassle but that is just me

3 hours in a hallway on a cot just to get a sliced finger looked at. Doctor never showed up and i was not checked on period. Finally after THREE HOURS said enough was enough. Only one doctor for a busy hospital at night? Makes you question if its even worth having a hospital 3 minutes down the road. Absolutely horrible.

I was here visiting from California when my brother had to go into the emergency room for severe abdominal pain. The front dest lady not very welcoming. We are Mexicans and citizens of the USA but the front desk lady treated us like illegal immigrants. My brother was in severe pain and she kept asking for his ID. I told her we did not have it cause we left out hotel in a rush because it was an emergency I told her I did not know he needed his identification to be seen for an emergency. He was taken by a nurse and then she asked me if he spoke English I rudely responded of course he does. I had heard people were racist in these areas but I had not yet experience it until coming to this hospital. The emergency room nurses were okay. He ended up having his appendix removed. The OR nurses were great. I don't know about the OR doctor he seem pushy about the surgery. I had asked him about trying to treat his condition with antibiotics first. He said they only do that in other countries. My sister had the same issue and she was treated with antibiotics first and did not have to go into surgery which was in Murrieta California. OR doctor told us his had fluid and surgery was the best option but when I read the CAT scan results there was no fluid. I feel like he lied to us

Recent cataract surgery. All staff at reception, nurses and operating room personnel were welcoming and considerate. They listened to my concerns, carefully explained all procedures and provided reassurance. I will gladly have my other eye done there.
