Mary Black Health System Spartanburg

I just delivered my firstborn at Mary Black Labor and Delivery and I received the absolute best care I could have received anywhere. From the nursing staff to the room service, everyone was kind and courteous. I was treated like royalty and I am so thankful for every person that I encountered the 4 days I was there!

Madeline Bryan was the nurse for our daughter during labor and delivery of our granddaughter and was the best ever!!! We all felt the same! She went way beyond what you would expect and she is certainly in the right profession. Thank you Madeline.

If it wasn't for the really poor patient relation that the ER service neglec's to provide, I would have giving 5 star rating. We got into the ER quickly from when we signed in, but after they took us back that was another issue. We waited around for 9 hours before they admitted my mom. During that 9 hours, no one came in to make sure she was doing ok. The only time we saw anyone was when they asked her medical question or took her to get X-rays. After she was admitted, well that was a very pleasant experience. The staff in tower 4 were awesome, helpful and very polite. They made my mom feel welcomed and they checked in on her from time to time to make sure she was ok. Too bad the ER stuff snub people or this would be a 5 star hospital all the way round.

Been in the ER since 9pm, it’s now 3:25am.... still waiting.... i understand they call those that hurt the most. But when i get up to to see how many more are ahead of us.... and they tell me we was marked seen already..!!!! Mood and respect changes.

Dr Grant is the most useless dr to be given a license to practice medicine!! Did zero test on my daughter who was complaining of chest pains and assumed it was anxiety!!! How do you diagnose a patient with no blood work...chest x-ray..ekg NOTHING!!! WORTHLESS
