My daughter is a CHD (congenital heart defect) baby. She was a born in this hospital and had to be airlifted to Rochester. After having own heart surgery and coming home I noticed something wasn't right with her breathing. I took her in to the ER 4 different times in 3 weeks. After long waits and no answers I took my 4 month old heart warrior to Rochester where she was admitted, sent to the PICU, and put under precautions because Albert Lea misdiagnosed bacterial meningitis and she had to spend 3 weeks in saint Mary's on IV antibiotics. When there is an emergency I take her to the ER after I have called first to let them know I am enroute and that they better have transport ready to take her to Rochester. We love our pediatrician John Gryzbowski and all the pharmacy techs but they are the only reason we continue to go to Albert Lea medical center.

I have been seen by the Wound Care Clinic for the last 4 months. Judy, Jill, Rhonda, Krishna, Lynette are best medical staff that have encountered in the last 3 years in which I have had 8 surgeries during that time. They are very knowledgeable and caring and have been willing to take care of all medical needs. I would recommend them to anyone. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

Visited the Eye clinic, friendly desk staff, fast and efficient employees. The Dr.'s assistant was pleasant, personable and very nice. Dr. Is also friendly. There wasn't a rushed feeling to the visit at all. Overall good experience.

Very nice facility. My Wife and I dealt with 6 medical staff, the pharmacy, and receptionist for outpatient surgery. They were not only very competent but also very nice people. We were kept informed every step of the way.

I am giving it 3 stars because my first experience was good, but my second was very bad. My first experience, I had a concerned doctor who was a big help. My second time they forced mental health questions on me when I was there for a sinus infection and it really made me very mad. I felt it intrusive, definitely unnecessary and probably a civil rights violation. So they are 3 stars the first time but maybe 1 to 2 stars the second. The only reason I went to ER at all, is that I was shocked to find Urgent Care was by appointment only. Good grief. After reading other reviews, I see I'm not alone in my feelings here. The best thing about the Mayo system is their Nurse Line which is respectful, knowledgeable and compassionate! Thank God for them!
