The emergency department staff is great! Very caring! The reason I gave 4 stars is because this hospital is very understaffed. My boyfriend cut his finger tip off and was bleeding in then lobby and it took 25 minutes to be taken back to a room. We were there for a total of 4 hours, it took 2 hours just to get him pain meds. I'm not mad at the staff at all. They were being so pleasant for being under so much stress. I appreciated the staff so much. But I wish the hospital would properly staff. I know it's hard to judge how many people will be coming though the ED, but there was definitely a shortage of employees for a Sunday.
Thanks again to the emergency staff for taking good care of my boyfriend. :)

This hospital and staff are amazing! I am here recovering from a hysterectomy and have had a wonderful experience. All the nurses and aides are very attentive and are here in a moment if I call . It's hard being away from your family when you are in the hospital but they make your stay here wonderful.

A month ago I took my husband to emergency room after he cut his finger on a power saw. He was seen immediately. Although it only required 4 stitches, they were tricky as it was right at the first joint. The various procedures and anesthetics required a lot of waiting time, but it was worth it. All staff were efficient, and considering the issues that need attention at an ER, this was problem was handled properly.

I didn't give it five stars, as I think the hospital is understaffed. This is more related to my own emergency visit a couple of years ago. But when I had my gall bladder out after the visit, the surgery was fine. Could have used a little more "post surgery advice" as my surgeon and his office were lax on that. But who knew??

I took my 4 year old daughter who was bleeding horribly from her mouth. They sent her home with antibiotics saying her new crown on her tooth was infected. Never treated nor attempted to stop the bleeding. Rushed her to the dentist as soon as they opened and they could not believe the hospital allowed her to leave nor did anything for her bleeding from her gums. The dentist couldn’t believe how much she was bleeding and that no one did anything there to help her. I will never take my children there again.

I came in due to a infected toe, I waited for half an hour before being seen them when I was all they did was poke it and almost cut the infected part off but told me to see a specialist and sent me home with a $457 bill which I presented my insurance to them and they said right to my face I was covered but later that month I got a bill in the mail saying since they didn't send enough info to my insurance the bill defaulted onto me, this happened in November and I've called multiple times and every time the same response I get is "don't worry its taken care of you won't get another bill" 4 months later (today) I get a bill double the original. I just finished school last January and currently still am looking for a job I can't afford to pay nearly $1000 because either someone lied to me or the staff is too stupid to send the right info or read and tell me I'm not covered.
What a joke this hospital only cares about money and not helping people
