I was in this hospital for 6 days and all but one nurse were great, They seemed to truly care but it took 3 days to get the shower fixed, i used wipes on my last day there before the shower was fixed, I have only one nurse that screwed me over. I would like to talk to somebody about that incident. I was on the third floor and want to say thank you to all the nurses, aids and doctors minus the one nurse.

The emergency department staff is great! Very caring! The reason I gave 4 stars is because this hospital is very understaffed. My boyfriend cut his finger tip off and was bleeding in then lobby and it took 25 minutes to be taken back to a room. We were there for a total of 4 hours, it took 2 hours just to get him pain meds. I'm not mad at the staff at all. They were being so pleasant for being under so much stress. I appreciated the staff so much. But I wish the hospital would properly staff. I know it's hard to judge how many people will be coming though the ED, but there was definitely a shortage of employees for a Sunday.
Thanks again to the emergency staff for taking good care of my boyfriend. :)

Horrible place, I had a hysterectomy and after they told me I would have my own room they put me in a room with a lady that when she sat up an alarm would go blaring in my ear. This went on all night after my major surgery so I got no rest and in the morning I had a terrible head ace and soar throat. The next night started the same way so I wheeled myself out in the hall and told the nurses I could not do this another night. Luckily they took her for a bit so I got a couple hours of sleep. Why would you ever put a person that just had major surgery with somone with a blaring alarm. So unprofessional.

Terrible service is putting it lightly. Completely and utterly Appalled. Emergency care staff treatment was terrible and proceeded to ship my father out without any treatment. Refused to run test stated they had to be ordered referring him to his PCP. Is this not a hospital? You have access to all test and capability of running and ordering anything at all. Potentially if you’re bleeding and they can see the holes, you might get a band-aid or two from Mclaren Lapeer Region!
Incompetent to say the minimum!

I am scheduled for test tomorrow to look at the possibility of cancer. I have insurance with a deductible as everyone does. Your hospital is trying to for e me to pay it in full up front or no tests. You money grubbing pos. The almighty dollar is all you care about. How many patients do you have there without ins. How many illegals are you taking care of at tax payers expense. Just shows you only care about the money. You don’t care if we get sick and die. There will always be sick people to line your pockets
