feedback about Mease Countryside Hospital
I dont know why people rated this hospital a one star. We had our baby here and we felt so comfortable as if all the nurses and doctors were family. We were treated with prompt and high respect service. After we had our baby we were given 3 meals a day a and a congratulations kit when we left with amazing food and sparkling wine. A+++
One of our boys were born here in 2008. It was great. Older retiree nurses who new there stuff and not judgmental because my wife could not breast feed. Very relaxed, very attentive staff.
Very good care. Rooms are crowded. Parking awful, but soon to be improved.
No hot water in the fifth post maternity ward. WTH? I've stayed at motel 6s with better hot water. The nurses all know about the problem so they let the water run for fifteen minutes to heat up until it's luke warm. Completely unacceptable. Other than that, great!
Went to the ER because I nearly passed out at work. Rushed to the ER told them about chest pains and they rushed me in quickly in case I was a victim of stroke or heart attack. They did a full array of tests including a CT of my head to rule out any brain tumors. Everyone was supernice. From the triage, transporters and most definitely the RNs on watch.
The guy I had was awesome. He was very concerned for my well being and stayed positive throughout my overnight stay.
The only hiccup was that I had to remind them to draw my blood for my enzyme tests for heart attack. the longer they wait the longer I have to stay past overnight, Once I told the night RN, they handled it right away
The cardiologists were also very thorough.
St Josephs was closer to my job but I preferred Mease since my daughter was born here and they took care of my dad when he had gallstones.
