My daughter had some issues and was taken here last February. The whole staff treated her very well and I think was almost sad to see her go. They referred to her as “the young one” (29 but looks way younger). Anything she wanted or needed, she got. Her meds were all on time and the staff and nurses (all were awesome) made her as comfortable as possible. The doctors were very good about explaining all the procedures, diagnosis and prognosis. I felt very comfortable letting them take care of my baby girl. She lives in Tampa but chose this hospital because of the reviews. Now we see why the reviews were so great.

This review is for the Surgical Services for Mease Countryside Hospital. Thank you so much to my amazing surgical team - Claire, Wendy, Tiffany and Patty. I can't thank you enough for making a nerve-racking situation not so bad. As for the aftercare, my nurse Emma was fantastic as well. The hospital had some great little extras that really made me take notice, like offering comfort dogs to patients and people in the waiting rooms. They also played this cute lullaby when a baby was born. Thanks to everyone.

Took my 2 year old here was admitted for 2 days before being transferred. ER staff was awesome. Checked in frequently. Felt very informed. Pediatric nurses amd staff after admissions were also great and very comforting. Dr. Berlin was a fantastic pediatrician!

Worst E.R. experience ever! If you don’t have a life threatening reason to go there, save yourself hours of waiting, there are faster, more attentive hospitals less than 15 minutes in any direction... I ended up walking out after waiting for at least 2 hours AFTER registration because not a single person came into my room to check on me ...

The only positive thing I can say about this hospital is that the security guards and nurses are great. Other than that, stay away. I was sent here by my PCP due to severe anemia, weakness, shortness of breath, and an abnormal ekg that showed a possible heart attack. Now, most hospitals would take a potential cardiac patient straight back and work them up. Not Mease. Apparently kidney stones and vomiting are more serious than a possible heart attack. I did get labs and an ekg, then was sent back to the waiting room, where I sat for 3 hours before giving up and leaving.
