My sister went here to ER and was admitted. When it was time for her to be discharged. We were lied to by the nurse who was her caseworker. She is on Medicare. Had mini strokes while in the hospital. Scan showed she had previous ones and well. We asked about her getting rehab since she has weakness and trouble walking and breathing. Told by caseworker she was not eligible and that there was a lifetime limit. If used up some her days now might need them later. She has a long set of stairs to get in her apartment. He said if she could not go home they would send her to a homeless shelter! He was wrong, she was eligible for rehab. He is giving advice and making desicions and he doesn't know what he talking about. She would have benefited greatly from rehab. There is no humanity at this hospital. Do not care about patients. Just get the bed free for the next victim.

I've had back surgery preformed at this hospital and been to it's emergency intake
3 times. I had no problems with any of the
doctors there. People need to remember that this hospital has hundreds of patients a
day. If you're there alone, you have to be
your own advocate. If you have family members or friends who can be your advocate that's even better. But, please
learn to be polite but firm. Don't go in there
using profanity, that's gets you no where.
And while you are there, just remember you're not the only patient there. And that
doctors and nurses are human too.
I always got better care, because I behaved
with politeness and civility.

I was told by my doctor to go straight to Antenatal Unit at Southern Md hospital since i was having cramping at 33 weeks. Must I say, they are AMAZING!!! The place is immaculate. As soon as i went back Cathy and her partner took great care if me. Very professional, loving, caring and great communication skills. My husband and I were blown away. I just want to say thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you,
The Reynolds

Completely trash. The lady at the front desk and the doctor (that explained what went wrong) were the only two acceptable people in the place. One of the nurses was being too nonchalant and placed my IV wrong, then they began pumping the IV fluids. Worst pain I’ve felt in my life (haven’t felt much but I threw up and nearly passed out). Needed them to take it out and left immediately. Terrible experience.

This hospital is nasty and the staff are rude and the slowest moving health care workers I've ever seen. Extreamly long wait times, even after being sent to facility by another facility. I absolutely do not recommend this hospital.
