I've been treated in the emergency room at least four times, and have had three surgeries here, one of them being inpatient. I've never had a bad experience as a patient, or as a family member taking my spouse or kids in for treatment. I once had to wait in the ER waiting room for almost four hours, but my injury was low priority and it was a busy night.
This place has very good care. But it is kind of smelly like it does not have a fresh air or perfumey smell to it.
Awful Awful emergency room doctors and nurses! I just took my daughter to the emergency room tonight (09/13/2018) and the E.R. doctor didn't run ANY tests. He ASSUMED that my daughter has strep throat. WOW!!!! I'm sure that I am being charged a bundle just for my daughter sitting in the emergency room bed for an hour and a half and the doctor just checked her ears and throat and came up with the conclusion that she had strep throat. Could it be tonsillitis? Could it be a sinus infection? Could it be a virus? How would anyone know unless they ran tests!!!!! I went to the emergency room about a year ago in a lot of pain. They ran tests and said there was nothing wrong and sent me home. I got a call the next morning from another emergency room doctor asking me to come back in. I said no because they treated awful when I was in there the night before. Come to find out I had a huge hernia in my stomach which you anyone could have seen in the X-Ray if they would have just looked. Yeah, this emergency room is a joke. The hospital isn't so good either. I had a surgery on my stomach about 5 years ago and they nicked my spleen and I almost died. They never said sorry AND I got billed for it!!!! There wasn't anything I could do about either. It's an awful emergency room and hospital - just wanted everyone to know.
My daughter recently visited this hospital and her nurse Sara Black was awesome she went above and beyond her call of duty, will forever be grateful!
Went to ER twice in same day. First time I was told nothing was wrong and left crying from being in such extreme pain. Second time was 3 hours later and the dr said if I wouldn't have come back, I would have died. My appendix was gangrene and was full of pus/infection. He said it had been like that for days.
