I went in having not eaten for three days and having taken hydrocodone for period pain (I took these at 12 pm) come 6 pm I had eaten and started vomiting. I tried eating more but everything I ate I’d vomit up. I had some stomach and lower abdomen pain, I figured that was due to hunger or lack of eating. I went by myself and I was incredibly nervous. And I knew that I needed fluids and I felt dehydrated. But they would not offer an IV instead they gave me a pelvic exam. Tested to see if I was pregnant (understandable) and then they wanted to draw blood and if everything came back fine they wanted to do a ct scan. They thought I might have appendix problems, but I didn’t because my pain wasn’t excruciating. I knew I just needed fluids to help flush my system. I am also a college student who will have to independently pay for the bill. When I expressed that they said I already had to pay a lot and everything else they plan to do is just a little bit more so why not just do it. I ended up leaving early because I was feeling worse then I when I initially arrived. The doctors did not ask a lot of questions nor were they willing to talk to me personally. I wasted 4 hours of my life only to feel the exact same.

Our daughter was born here and the nurses, doctors, and midwife were all awesome! However, the case manager not so much. Wife took a urine sample and came up positive for METH, which was a HUGE NO WAY! It ended up being an error by hospital but we had to deal with this for months after. Had CPS showing up at our house even after the hospital confirmed they were wrong. The case manager their did nothing. Our daughter was super healthy and we thank the delivery nurse and after care but the case management, nope.

We were visiting from Florida when my daughter was injured. The care & compassion shown to my daughter & our family was outstanding! My daughter had the best care! I am so thankful for the nurses & staff that cared for my daughter! Truly a blessing!
