My 83 year old Mother had to go to the Emergency Room. I am amazed at the level of care, professionalism and knowledge all the staff demonstrated. They all went above and beyond to assure my mother received prompt diagnostic testing, physicians evaluation and treatment for the medical conditions. Once admitted, the same exemplary care and professionalism continued all through the moment she was discharged and wheeled to the car at the valet. This was the first time a family member was treated at Memorial Regional Hospital and I highly recommend it. Normally we have gone to other area hospitals but from now on we will come here.
Wow, where the hell do I begin with this crappy hospital?
1. My boyfriend is having flu-like symptoms, they put us into a room and say "A nurse will see you shortly" it's currently 1:33 AM. We have waited for over an hour. Still no nurse.
2. I had to use the restroom. You expect a hospital restroom to be immaculate, right? Wrong. There was brown gunk on the sink and piss on the floor. I should've taken a picture while I had a chance, but there is no way in hell I'll go back in there.
Whoa, a doctor and nurse finally came in. Jesus Christ. And I thought Jackson North hospital was bad, but after this I think they've found their match. I completely understand hospitals are packed, especially because of flu-season and whatnot, but this is beyond ridiculous.
Oh my. I placed an HONEST REVIEW on your website and YOUR institution blocked my access! Imagine that! And THAT IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU TREAT PATIENTS! If you block honesty and ignore them then nothing is wrong? Your actions SCREAM volumes!
The best hospital, from the time I was brought in, until I was discharged. Kind, accommodating, took me through the process in a timely matter, just overall GREAT experience, considering the circumstances. They should have a special team go to other hospitals and train them on hospital patient relations etc.
I was taken to Memorial Regional by ambulance. I was hesitant to go there, and was asking about alternative hospitals. I was imagining a packed ER where the very difficult to get attended to within a few hours. The ER was packed, but the doctor was with me within five minutes. I had a dislocated shoulder that needed to be reduced. Everyone I had contact with was supportive, kind, and help me calm down. I was pleasantly surprised and my experience on this particular date,2/13/18, was beyond and exceeded expectations.
