Annie/Anne not sure how she spells her name. She is located in ICU (300 area) She is very loud and ghetto she needs to learn how to tone it down. She's a secretary

Also in ICU (300 area) The night shift crew needs to learn how to take their job serious. It's not a time to play around. It's a time to be serious. Especially when sick patients are trying to sleep at night. All you hear is them laughing and having fun.

This pertains to the 2 days ( One day surgery and second day recovery) I spent at Memorial Regional on October 2018. Going into surgery was pleasant. Surgeon was excellent (five stars). However, hospital service when I awoke from surgery was horrible. After I got out of surgery, I spent 6 hours waiting to be assigned to a room. Finally I got a room, but a shared room (which is not what I was told and promised). The other patient in the shared room had like 5 visitors at the same time and they would not stop talking loudly. In addition, they would constantly use the bathroom which is assigned to patients only. Usually I wouldn't be bothered by this but the bathroom was 5 feet from my bed and all I could hear were doors opening and slamming every 5 minutes. I complained to multiple nurses but still I had to wait another 3 hours to be put in a single room. Maybe it was the night shift because staff did not seem to know what they were doing. The following day was much better. Staff were more professional and knowledgeable. Treatment in general was more professional. I have had a few hospital visits in my time including multiple memorial west visits, but this was the worse so far. Lets see if they get billing right.

My wife gave birth at this hospital this summer. They managed to make this life defining experience terrible. Nurses do not do anything: to get pain killers my wife had to call nurses at least 3 times! When I would go out to the hallway I would see 5-6 nurses chatting in the common area. All our the requests were simply ignored. For my request to call a supervisor nurse they were laughing in my face. The supervisor nurse would come and do the request without apologizing or disciplining her staff. Additionally, it appears that administration especially encourages this kind of attitude toward foreign customers.

At the same time I should say that the room itself and equipment were really nice, the attitude of the personnel is the issue.

Horrible service! I'm writing this review while I'm still sitting in the ER. I've been here for 4hrs and I'm very unhappy and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. NEVER again will I give them a chance to make me feel unimportant.

The care was outstanding! It took a while in the emergency room but they were thorough and ended up saving my life !
