They told me if I wish to be upset I can do that.
Had a friend going for surgery at this hospital. I had waited for them to let people come see him. I was in the bathroom after an hour of waiting. When he was ready the nurses came and did not even wait for me to wash my hands. They took who was ready and left me after my daughter told them I was coming. I missed seeing him and by the time they Cam back to talk to me he was in surgery. So here is my view posted for everyone else to see.

I was very impressed with the treatment and care of a family member at Mercy Hospital recently. The ER doctor, nurses, and staff were kind, compassionate, and very professional. My loved one continued to receive excellent care after being admitted. Joplin is fortunate to have this hospital.

My doctor was literally late to helping me give birth to my second child, not to mention that the nurses had trouble finding him several times before that. On top of that we’ve had to come 4 times for my Mother to have surgery because the doctors can’t seem to figure out how to help us with her kidney stone pains.

Mercy Hospital was great to me during my emergency room visit that turned into an overnight stay. I was very happy with all the nurses who helped me and checked on me. They were all very sweet and made sure I was comfortable . The food was great as well. I highly recommend Mercy Hospital.

Very disappointing. A family member was given an appointment time of 12:30pm, for an ultrasound, after 3 hours they said it would be quite a while longer. After inquiring, she was told they were slammed. Obviously, they need someone in scheduling that understands how long procedures take to complete. At no time was she told they had an emergency, that would have been understandable.
