My husband came to the ER because he needed help as an alcoholic in a very sick state wanting help to detox safely as the doctor told us you can die trying to do this on your own, yet would not admit him! He told us “if you don’t have good insurance your options are bleak” what kind of doctor/hospital turns away someone telling you yes you can die but bye!! I will be heard until I get some response!!! I AM LIVID

When I tried to pay for my visit they told me billing was down and they would have to send me an invoice in the mail. They never sent me a bill and put me straight to collections. I paid promptly checking in with both the hospital and collections to make sure it was cleared up. 3 months later and collections is still harassing me because the hospital never removed me from their system. I don't understand how a hospital can be so unorganized.

This was the worst emergency visit i ever had i came here with my mother at 9am it its 2:14 the doctor (james mchugh)came in here once since we came in it has been a couple hours since he stopped back in my mother is in her 40s also she is Puerto Rican every time we come here they treat her with disrespect i have papers saying she didn't have anything when we came last year they sent her home saying she didn't have anything but my mom really didn't think they did their job so she went to a hospital in philadelphia University Of Penn and they found out she had to get her gallbladder removed all i want to know is what is this hospital doing ?Do they even care about there patients ?

My first and last visit was 8/10/2017 in which I just received a bill for today. I have insurance. Because I work in medical billing I knew what questions to ask before being seen. I asked registration if they were in network (par), she said yes I asked were the physicians bill separate she said no. I even called twice and was told I did not owe anything. TODAY, almost a year later I get a bill for $875.00 then someone called me & left a message. When I called right back The rep Angela said this is a physicians bill. I asked her for a detail statement, she said contact your insurance. So you want me to pay a bill without a detail . The bill just says $875. It shows nothing. Then it says if you have other insurance submit the bill to them. Now THEY know it is past the timely filing deadline for any insurance. Angela said she could not give me details on the bill because they just send the bills to them and they send them out. That made no since to me until she said she was in Texas. It seems like to me their representatives need some training. I asked her to put the account on hold and she said she couldn't I had to contact the hospital directly. She said a lot a bills went out a year later. But the phone # on the bill was what I called. I think she was working from home honestly and she just answer calls not questions because she answered the phone Hello not Suburban Community Hospital. I had to ask if this was where I was calling and she said yes. I am sending a complaint letter to the hospital and the Attorney General regarding their practices. I also plan to post this on social media and contact NBC. This is crazy.
