I had to come to the ER the night of Feb. 5 after being attract and recieving some head trauma. I was made to feel like I was a total piece of trash and an aggravation to the on duty doctor and staff. I told the the doctor I needed a safe place to go because it was not safe for me to go home. And once again he acted like I was nothing more than a pain in his side. A little while later a young came in and hand me a folder and said here is your discharge papers and turned around and left. Now please keep in mind in the discharge papers it said I has a concussion. No one came in to tell me what to do our how to do. No one ever came back to let me know if there was any safe places I could go. They literally just handed me my fold and said here is your discharge papers and turned and left the room. I had to find my own way out of the hospital and sat out side for around an hour until I myself found someplace safe to go. So thank you for making me feel even more like trash at my lowest point.
My significant other was treated very well , in particular Dr Hogan ! Emergency surgery on a weekend and everyone was very caring and concerned. He's home and on the mend, Thank You!!
Went in to consult with my surgeon about removing a lipoma. The place is poorly organized with there being separate clinics and hospitals both of which have entirely different policies. I spent several minutes trying to find where I was supposed to go as the clinic has no receptionist to guide you.
Because I had no insurance, I had to cough up $100 dollars just to talk with the surgeon who took less than two minutes to tell me something that I already knew, and that he should have known as well considering a x-ray was sent to him. He suggested operating today which I was glad for, but when asked about the cost of the operation, he admitted to not knowing.
It is utterly banal that the very surgeon as well the nurses would not know the cost of the procedure, and it took around forty minutes for that information to be recieved. Adding on that were annoying payment plans that outright punished you for not having the money to pay up front which I could not do as the price of the operation was not given to me beforehand.
In the end, I had to leave with a $100 basically tossed in the trash and thoroughly annoyed. While the workers were well-mannered, I am aghast at the sheer incompetence and disorganization of this clinic, and I advise others to do as I will, look for alternative options.
I delivered my healthy baby girl here and was truly blessed to do so. Doctor Christie and his nurses are amazing. The labor and delivery nurses, especially Belinda, who helped through the labor, are awesome!!! The nurses checking on me for my two day stay were always on call and ready to help if i needed anything. The nursery staff was so eager to help take care of her for a while so i could sleep. The food was actually better than i had thought! Hands down THE hospital to go to. Especially for labor and delivery! They even gave me a bag full of diapers, wipes, creams, anything needed for my little one, and a manual breast pump! Thank you, Merit!
I am just in shock. My mum was just released from the hospital tonight without a walker after having hip surgery Saturday. The nurse, racheal, actually told her this is not a hotel and she needed to leave even without a walker. The walker is scheduled for delivery at 8:00am tomorrow.
