feedback about Methodist Dallas Medical Center
I had no idea when my biological mother was admitted on Wednesday that I would receive the assistance I was asking God for. I asked God to please just help me, due to her many illnesses and living arrangement I felt overwhelmed and so powerless. Then my mother gets admitted, and I'm contacted by a social worker named Alex. The minute our conversation started she put my mind at ease. I had been struggling finding the care my mother needs, she needs 24 hour around the clock care that I can't provide family and a full time job. Alex is a godsend, I had no clue there were people who still genuinely cared and understood your struggle. With a family member who is mentally ill, and now very ill physically. Alex has assisted me with nursing home placement for my mother. I didn't think I could get her into a nursing home facility due to multiple closed doors. Thank you for having such amazing staff who genuinely cares about others and understands life as it can get the best of all of us. Because of her, I feel at peace and serene knowing my family member is in great hands. My adopted mother (my aunt) actually passed away at this hospital, remembering back in 2011 we received such great care from your staff making her last days comfortable and peaceful. This hospital provides excellent care for their patients, and such peace and comfort for the family members with a commitment to be genuinely helpful. Also, thank you for finding something very serious another hospital missed.
This hospitals doctors have no bedside manners whatsoever nor do they know how to treat their patients as human beings. They made what was supposed to be a memorable moment in our lives into an unforgettable experience for all the Wrong reasons. The doctor that delivered our baby was very insensitive to my wife when she was in pain trying to deliver our baby and his exact words to her were “ you decided to have a baby so it’s time to push him out” and just 10 minutes later a labor and delivery nurse also told my wife to “be quiet and stop crying because it wasn’t going to help”. I plan on taking this to the Texas medical board and the news outlet if need be because no pregnant woman should be talked to in this manner. My advice please stay away from this hospital unless you like being disrespected.
Took roommate to Er waited about 1 hour before we got vitals done went back into lobby for another 30 min when we finally got to the room we haven’t been seen by any nurse to check on him and make sure the pain is ok or not they neglected a patient Methodist is a good hospital just not this staff or this location it needs to be re-evaluated and needs better training or be shut down no one should wait hours before a nurse comes to a room I bet the financial people would come before a nurse or doctor
My sister had her two baby's here in this hospital , Including my wife has just had our daughter here with all pregnancies being successful with an amazing blessed staff that I can't find the word to say how deeply greatful we are for these experiences to occur. I highly recommend this hospital out to everyone who may be in need of there services. I know, not every situation turn out for the best but those that do, are the ones we hold for the best.
It took me a few weeks to write down a review that should have been done long back. But i think I am ready now. My experience at Methodist Dallas was great. I was abused several ways and that made me depressed and suicidal. I was terrified of the forensic exam, however I should give maximum credit to Janaki, I think that is her name.. to make it a great empowerment experience for me. I felt I was in control of the whole situation and was not rushed. She was skilled and did the exam but gave me the control and I mattered throughout. we had an advocate in the room who was great as well as she helped me with my discharge. I'm not wishing the abuse on anyone but I know it's happening out there. Visiting this hospital will only make it better. The Emergency staff seemed like they worked as a team. Great coordination! Thank you Methodist Dallas!
