These reviews are concerning and the fact the complaints all follow suit, is even more concerning. I work for a major hospital w/ outpatient rehabs as well as urgent cares, etc. I would never want to see so many unhappy people for my employer and if so, I'd expect a major overhaul.
My mother is currently at this location and I was highly appalled w/ the care she is receiving. She has been there before and the first time, I loved everyone who tended to her. From the Dr., the Nurses, the complete staff; they made sure she was comfortable and at ease. This time, I can't say that was the case. I will address what stood out more than the others, her IV. They didn't insert her IV correctly and her fluid was injected under her skin. Her whole arm going down to the hand, was swollen. When they came in next, they took her vitals and never noticed how swollen she was. To me, that's alarming. I wish she were able to visit one of my hospitals, but sadly, we don't have one in her immediate area.
As with an hospital there are good and bad doctors and nurses. In my experience the good far outweighs the bad. I have spent many night in this hospital being treated my amazingly caring doctors and nurses. The hospital rooms are large and comfortable and they always welcome your family to stay with you. This is an excellent hospital with some of the best medical staff you will ever meet.

I arrived at the ER and was greeted promptly but then an individual by the name of Billy Johnson seem to take over. He was most concerned with his personal cell phone and everything on it, especially alcohol and getting drunk. I was addressed as "bud" but keep in mind we never met before this encounter. I felt as if I was somehow linked to his cell phone I would seem to matter for a brief second. I would prefer to be called by my name, just my simple first name...no sir or any of that...just my first name. We all have a cell and look at it while working but behind the scene and certainly not while speaking directly to a patient or anyone else for that matter. I will be contacting the director of the hospital ... or should I say bar.
What outstanding service Methodist Mansfield gives to its patients.This morning I had a minor problem with their referral Department.I received a call from a gentleman by the name of Ryan who works in the administration at the hospital. He is a true professional and great at his job. He called me and said that we would get this straightened out and he did he had a wonderful young lady who's in the referral Department call me. Her name is Ivy she went ahead and got an appointment for me the next day. Also a great professional from my doctor's office by the name of Sherry called to also offer me help. All I want to say is what an outstanding customer service experience. What wonderful professional people. I give Methodist Mansfield a 10 thank you
