feedback about Methodist Mansfield Medical Center
It is taking forever to get results back from my daughter’s X-Ray. I had to call three different people and they all redirected me to each other. Still waiting on a call back from their NP since their radiologist can’t tell me results over the phone. There needs to be a better system to give results to customers. I shouldn’t have to drive back to the clinic to get results. I would recommend giving patients an access code so that the records department can give patients their results over the phone.
Methodist Mansfield is great! A week ago I went to the ER for assistance and from the moment I entered, until I left, I felt I was being given the best care and consideration possible. I was a little surprised since I don't have health insurance, and I have visited other hospitals who treat you like you are stealing when you ask for assistance. MMMC did not make me feel that way. I felt as though my care was most important.
I was taken to your E.D. by ambulance on March 31st. I had a broken elbow, broken rib, a concussion and severe vertigo. James Little, your paramedic in the E.D. , put a splint on my arm, he was very kind. Please thank him for me.
Then was admitted and received wonderful care.
I especially wish to commend a nurse by the name of Friday. He went above and beyond to keep my spirits high during this most difficult time. ( I live in FL. and was visiting our son in Texas when I fell.) He was a wonderful nurse and you should be very proud to have him on your staff. Please relay this to him and thank Him for me.
I highly recommend your hospital...care and food were great ! My surgeon was also wonderful, Dr. Mairura. Thank you all for helping me through a most difficult time. Lesley V.
My family and I have always been treated fairly and with a great deal of compassion by all the staff we have had the pleasure of dealing with. I would recommend, and have, to anyone needing hospitalization. Great job Mansfield.
I had a wonderful experience at a hospital E.R. today. Sounds like an oxymoron, right? I mean who actually enjoys a visit to the E.R. for anything unless you're delivering pizza there, right? But I was amazed...I took my 9 year old son in for an excruciating earache today (which is no picnic to begin with). I registered online on the way in (no papers to fill out) and at one p.m. I am given an estimated time of 3 p.m., but when we get there, I'm already signed in, wait five or 7 minutes with the kids playing touchscreen video games, and they are calling us back to take vital signs, the doctor comes in before (yes, I said *before*) that is done, looks at my son's ears, asks questions (actually listens to what I tell him), decides what to prescribe to treat it, explains it to me, and we wait maybe 10 minutes for the sign out paperwork and prescriptions and we are out in 30 minutes. And I don't feel we are rushed out, just not held indefinitely in a cold room with my child in misery wanting to go home. Absolutely excellent. We got the help we needed, efficiently and got us headed to get his medicine and back to snuggle in bed and feel better...and we didn't take up valuable resources someone else needed. I highly recommend this hospital. Time and again they have been there for my family and this just makes it even better. The service and kindness of staff have always been excellent. Bravo!
