I was listened to and my symptoms were addressed promptly and accurately, including explanations for each activity that were clear, polite and not at all condescending. The entire staff was pleasant, yet professional and I never felt neglected or burdensome. The staff allowed me to travel to the bathroom instead of other less attractive options that they easily could have insisted upon if they weren't concerned with my comfort level during the diagnostic procedures they were performing.

I was happy I went to Mission Viejo Hospital Emergency for emergency treatment. I feel I came to the right place as soon as I entered the room with the quick attention and care I received from all the staff. I was assessed right away. Even the transporter provided me with a warm blanket during my transport to different departments for test. Even with just that simple gestures it gives me comfort and feel safe and secure. It is easy to give 5 stars to all the staff. Your kindness is beyond measures.

Everyone I encountered was very friendly and professional. The facility was clean and welcoming. They attended to me in a quick manner and I felt like a priority rather than just another patient to get out the door.

Having been a patient at Mission Hospital several times over the past 15 years, I can say with some degree of expertise that this hospital is well run, has high quality facilities and equipment as well as a very professional staff. How hospitals can run smoothly with so many activities and procedures in constant motion is a mystery to me. Yet Mission Hospital seems to operate seamlessly as patients are sent from one procedure to another, medicine is accurately administered to hundreds of patients every day, all the while hundreds of staff members go about their assignments like clockwork. Not all hospitals are equal. Not all hospitals can manage the multitude of tasks that have to be performed accurately and timely. Mission can and does. You are in good hands there.

I brought my 16 month old daughter to the ER. The doctor on call wasn't in network, so the bill ended up being around $5,000. Rather than sending an invoice, the out of network doctor sent us straight to a collection agency. I'm angry because I could have paid the bills had they sent the invoices. How is this legitimate? It was an emergency, so we had to go there. And, my daughter is fine, so we're grateful for that. But who would imagine that a hospital that's in network, has individual doctors that won't even send us the bill? But why does the situation have to come with these messed up circumstances? Where are the ethics?
