Morgan Memorial Hospital

This place is terrible. They ignored my mother who was in extreme pain and talked among themselves at the ER desk instead of offering any help. Once they finally decided to treat my mother it took the nurse 3 attempts to insert the IV. The only good part was the physician who treated her, but he is a contractor who doesn't work for the hospital.

Angel was the best part of my visit. Dr. Chou was lazy, mean, argumentative, uninformed and though I had every paper showing my diagnoses, Dr. Chou treated me less than a human being. If you are in pain drive by this place.

This is the old hospital however I’ll leave this review here since google hasn’t taken the old hospital in Madison, GA off the map. The staff at Morgan Medical Center are caring and super nice. The care that was provided to me was professional with a small town home like feel to it. I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital and the great staff. Unfortunately, I personally was in the waiting room when “Go Hair” came into the hospital. Their review is incorrect and doesn’t reflect what actually happened. I witnessed this person yell and curse at the security officers, then leave before anyone could even check them in. I felt very sorry for the security officers and the ER clerk that was lied about in their review. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone! Especially the ER!

They have two addresses for the hospital. I went to the one that’s apparently closed. I’m not from the area but passing through. They should be mindful of visitors who may need emergency medical care. When I finally got there, I was greeted by security and they had to give me step by step directions on how to check in. It shouldn’t be difficult, the first desk we should see is to check in. I was told to sit at a desk and wait to be checked in. In the meantime, I hear chitter about the person that’s suppose to be at the desk, didn’t even have his radio to know that someone was waiting to check in. Security had to search for him and one of the security officers said that they was told if I’m not having a heart attack then we could wait. Firstly, How unprofessional is that for the check in person for the emergency room to not be available and secondly for them to say that to someone who is seeking medical attention? These kind of people have my life in their hands? I waited for maybe 5 minutes to recollect my thoughts but ended up leaving for a real hospital. Skip this place at all cost.
