This is a complaint of Neglect: My doctor referred me to this office for back pain. My referral was sent over in mid April, my very first appointment which was just a consultation was scheduled for June 30, 2018. I get to the appointment and they tell me their computers are down and have to reschedule me. First, what does the computers have to do with my back. So someone was supposed to call me to reschedule,no one ever did after an entire week so I took it upon myself to call. I might add that during that week I did try to call but couldn't get anyone to answer. I finally get someone for the rescheduling and just my luck they schedule me another 30 days out to July 30,2018. I get to my appointment which is at 1:30 however I arrive early because I knew I had to get out at a decent time because I have to pick my children up from summer camp. I'm sitting in the room after she asked me a bunch of questions for over 30 to 40 mins. They told me I had to take a urine sample so I went to the front desk to notify the lady if they could move along for me to give this sample because it's really getting close to the time that I have to go. So I go back and wait some more and I see no urgency in any of the staff, so I excused myself. I got a $30 late fee from the summer camp I might add because I still ended up being late unfortunately. So here we are from a referral back in April and still getting nowhere. I tried to call the office the next day and pictures no answer just a machine everyday until Thursday I finally get someone and she tells me that the Physician who has never seen me is severing ties and that I will have to get a new referral from my primary doctor to be seen somewhere else. This office has shown neglect and does not care about the well being of their patients

Staff was pleasant but several newbies had struggles. I couldn’t get help in a timely manner. Everything was very, very slow with both the ER and trauma and most staff seemed to lack a sense of urgency. I was asked to stay for pain control, however, they were extremely weird regarding the pain medication that they had asked me to stay and receive. This made me feel as if they thought I was a drug addict because what they were giving me wasn’t working. I suppose those in charge believe everyone reacts the same to medicine. I wasn’t given a choice for breakfast and when I was called and given a few choices for lunch, they sent the wrong meal. I advised one of my caretakers but was never given what I had ordered. The room was tiny and the whole place was outdated. Good thing they’re building a new facility in Grove City. 2 stars for keeping me alive.

My name is Marymir Perez, I have to have a surgery, and my Dr. stated he will contact the best and most experienced Dr. in that area to perform it. Then, I had an appointment with the Surgeon and I got the best feeling patient-Dr anyone could have, but (there always have to be a “but”) informed me he only work at MOUNT CARMEL WEST HOSPITAL, that’s it, I did not have good recommendations for this Hospital. So, I start reading all the reviews in Google and got more scare than ever to go to that place. Talk to my Dr. and decided to see someone in the Cleveland Clinic, he was not to convince because I will have to travel. Had an appointment there and I loved the clinic, but, I did not have a good feedback from the Dr. Now I have a huge decision to make, because I can’t take the Clinic and the Surgeon and put both together, so should I take the clinic? Or Should I take the Surgeon? I took the Surgeon, and ask God to be with me, as He always is. THAT has been the best decision I had made. Dr. Maurice Pagé MD, Rachelle RN, Fred RN, Assistants, housekeeper, Registration Personnel, Patient Mgrs, anyway, everybody were out of this world, amazing, I do not have words enough to thank them all. Again, Thank you from the buttom of my heart to Dr. Pagé and all his team at 7th floor, for the way you treated me and my family. Hope you the best at your new installations at Grove City, hopping the rooms will be a little bigger and the couch a little more comfortable. God bless you all.

I have never received better health care in my life. Everyone, from the cleaning staff to the Chief of Surgery ( yes he and the Chief of Nursing visited me to make sure I was being taken care of), were amazing! They are well staffed so they are able to do their jobs very well!

I walked out of the ER tonight even though I could have used stitches and had nowhere else to go. It absolutely had to do with the attitude of one of the ladies at the front desk. There was no one else in the ER but she was snide, rude, and overall very stand offish. I understand that I shouldn’t expect much from the medical system in the US, but I had great health insurance for the first time and wanted to make sure I got a tetanus shot or stitches if I need it. Wow, within 5 minutes I was certain my quality of life would be better if I just bought butterfly strips and took care of it on my own. Two months later, I’ve got a pretty ugly scar, but at least I didn’t waste my time or money, I guess.
