Mount Pleasant Hospital

Do NOT go and see Lisa Currey! She has a horrible bed-side manner. My husband went to see her on Monday, after being sick since Saturday. Had la work done and was told she would have the results before the end of the day Monday....no phone call. Had to call them several times on Tuesday and was told she had not reviewed them yet and they would call in order received. My husband has kidney issues and his GFR was super low and had not been informed of it. He had to beg to have his results faxed to him. LESSON LEARNED! We will stay with our previous Dr’s and drive the 1.5 hrs for quality care!!

Amazing service. The staff is super friendly, professional, and very efficient. The Emergency Room had my Dad checked in and receiving care within 5 minutes. Having just moved here two days ago, we did not know what to expect. I feel so blessed to live close to such an amazing hospital with service like I have never experienced. Every staff member appears to love working here and caring for patients and their family.

Took my Fiancée there when she was having pain possibly due to a blood disorder, after waiting a couple hours the ER Doctor comes in, looking like he hasn’t probably slept, doesn’t do anything and ask me what I think is wrong with her. If I knew I wouldn’t have brought her to this hell hole. Incompetence runs rampant in this hospital . The people here just come to get a pay check and don’t know anything. My Fiancée’s hematologist from Austin sent over medical directions and the staff at the hospital had to GOOGLE what he sent them. Then wouldn’t follow the directions so told us we have to go to Dallas. My fiancée could have died if that medicine was not given to her. These people are going to kill someone sooner or later. Don’t waist ur time coming here, this “regional” “hospital” is nothing but a pit stop to the end. Go to Dallas!

Absolutely love the pediatric doctors. She was amazing. The nurses were amazing. My 9 year old had to have blood drawn and she was so patient with her. Doctors were very thorough, which I like. I don’t like 10 minute appointments. If I have questions I want them answered and not to be rushed out the room.

Pathetic all around. 7 hours in a waiting room just to be told they are experiencing heavy traffic and we might want to go somewhere else. Would’ve been nice 7 hours earlier!!!!! What a joke.
