feedback about Mountainview Hospital
The E.R. is a amazing/nurses awesome. My son unfortunately has to spend a lot of time in the hospital and we already know what needs to be done which could be done all in the E.R., but they always want to make sure to admit us unnecessarily I am sure do to the almighty dollar and my excellent insurance. Especially when what we are coming in for is about an hour short of completion. Very disheartening. It breaks my heart that he already spends so much time away from home in the hospital for his regular treatment then to have to also be admitted every time for a known occurrence and them trying to re-diagnose his condition or trying to get his white blood cell count levels or hemoglobin to that of a regular healthy normal person, which will NEVER HAPPEN!
Went into the E.R with my 4 yr old son, he had a high fever and stomach pain. Waiting room wasn't very full and yet I sat and waited to be called for 30mins, desperate I go and ask the front desk what the wait time was and her response " We don't give out wait times" not only was she rude, she wasn't in the mood to attend me, never have I been to a hospital and given that response! I ended up leaving and going to SOUTHERN HILLS HOSPITAL, as soon as I got there I was attended and my son seen! Never again will I go to Mountain View!!
I unfortunately had to go to the ER the morning of October 9, 2018 for severe kidney pain, vomiting and dehydration. Fortunately I chose MountainView. From the sweet lady at the front desk who took pity on me when she saw me attempting to walk met me with a wheelchair and helped check me in, to the care of the entire ER and radiological staff. I was quickly and efficiently moved through each step to discharge. Where I was diagnosed, treated and left hydrated and in much less pain . Being a PICU RN, I appreciated the top quality care I received despite the staff not knowing I was a medical professional. It speaks volumes when an ER runs that smoothly. Thank you MountainView for taking such good care of me.
My husband has had surgery here, had the best post care! My grandmother came in through the ER transferred from the VA - nursing staff in the ED was top notch!! Couldn’t have asked for better service, and being an RN myself - I am critical of the care my family receives when I cannot be there!! 100% comfortable and confident in the service, safety, and quality care received by the staff at Mountain View!!!
Went into the ER with kidney stones and they took great care of me. No long wait in line, they really moved fast and got me taken care of immediately. They are the best. Specifically RN Steve, he took really good care of me.
