feedback about Natchitoches Regional Medical Center
I’ve never had such a bad experience any place , not just a hospital. Staff were more into videos on their phone, playing on their phone or carrying on like they are out for the night. Recently moving here from AZ, I was amazed this is all there is
The Wound Center is outstanding! Excellent care from Dr Stokes and all the staff.
If they would have a choice to give zero stars ⭐️ I would. Horrible place and don’t know what they are talking about. Also quick to give you and type of diagnosis which indeed I had an ACL torn. Don’t go their you do better at a real hospital
I was in from out of town and didn't know what to expect from the hospital. I had chest pain and trouble breathing and found the hospital with an internet search. The medical staff was helpful and got me straight in for testing. The hospital was clean and quiet. Everyone was friendly and explained everything. Thanks for helping me!
After reading some of the negative reviews, I feel obliged to post my review. My family has been hospitalized in hospitals in Shreveport that were absolutely NO BETTER than NRMC. Some of the negative reviews contain misinformation and perspectives of distress. For instance, there is always a doctor in the ER 24/7 and if you present as a danger to yourself or others, the regulations require the stated action. I'm sure this is distressful to the patient, but I promise necessary. My husband had the first laparoscopic Cholecystecomy there, all three of my grandchildren were born there, I have had surgery there twice, other members of my family have had surgery there and all went very well. No hospital is perfect and there are delays sometimes. People (who are human) have been known to forget. Unless a specialty not available here is required, I will always use NRMC. My husband just spent 5 night stay after presenting to the ER with fever chills and other serious symptoms and admitted. I have no complaints and he did very well. Also, I have spent quality time in the ER; abdominal pain, vomiting my guts up, bad fall with injury to my right ankle and head trauma, food poisoning TWICE, and a headache that I thought was going to explode my head. I have always felt safe and well cared for. Nurses and doctors are human and if you're rude, demanding, or out of control, they may not be as sweet as the flowers in May, but you will get taken care of. Rethink your expectations and by all means go somewhere else if you think it's better there. This is a top-notch hospital.
