Went there for gallbladder removal for my wife. Check in was at 10:00am and surgery was scheduled for around 12:00. She was not taken back until after 5:00pm. The staff was nice but very condescending. Would not recommend this hospital to anybody with an emergency that's for sure. They might get to you within 24 hours, who knows.

ER Dr never touched my mother when in ER we thought that she was having a stroke and he was only briefly in the room. The nurses are very nice and helpful but the Dr is lazy and uncaring

Long time patient. Had both babies at NMC & both are patients at Cottonwood Pediatrics. Always clean, calming, & inviting environment.

d2redneck .

Damn near killed me and cost me my leg. This hospital needs to be investigated or preferably shut down. The nursing staff is sub standard at best and most of the docs I think got there licensing from a cracker Jack box. Hell when I asked for a doc to look at my leg they came in with a monitor. I was septic and they did nothing about it. Your better off going to Wichita and staying away from here. If a wreck or illness doesn't kill you if you go here there is a good chance they will.

My mother has been hospitalized after a surgery. The care has been wonderful. What I am disappointed in is the management staff. Having a room close to the desk I have heard nurses get yelled at for staffing, scheduling, drinking water, this and that and it goes on and on. The fact that I can hear staff being yelled at from my mothers room is not okay. These nurses are hard working and have been top notch from what I have seen. Do not beat them down over nothing. I witnessed a nurse get yelled at then the administrator walked back into their office and sat down on their personal phone. My brother said he witnessed another administrator come down and threaten to throw out a nurses water because her name was not big enough on the outside? The nurse turned red and was obviously humiliated. The lady walked off once she realized her name was there. Just seems ridiculous that these people are being paid to go around and be bullies to those that are actually working. Try getting up and working with your staff, not barking orders and being a bully. It made my stomach sick to see this. If I see this again I will be reporting it to the state.
