This place is HORRIBLE! My husband had a seizure in the waiting room and a nurse waiting to take a patient to her car just said "don't let him fall out of his chair because we don't have anyone to get him back up." Are you kidding me?!? We didn't have a choice to go to another hospital but I sure wish we did because we ended up in another ER 24 hours later. I am BEYOND miffed!

Our experience here was awful. She had to constantly ask for pain medication after having a hysterectomy, they didnt keep track of what time she had her last dosage, we had to. The machines would beep and beep and beep and we had to find a nurse they wouldnt just come by and check on you. There was absolutely no communication between shifts, it was just a horrible experience. Staff was not friendly by any means. I will not ever take another loved one to this location period.

I have just moved from Texas to Georgia. This was my first time coming to a hospital since I moved here. Do you emergency room was a disaster. I brought my four-year-old son and because his entire hip was black and blue from a potential poisonous spider bite. We sat in the waiting room nearly 3 hours. We never saw the doctor. It took over an hour just to get his vitals checked. He was so uncomfortable and restless from waiting in the waiting room so long we decided that it was best to just leave. Other people in the waiting room had been there for much longer than we have. Everyone was restless and miserable.

We had to take our 2 year old to the hospital around 4:30 am. The first person we dealt with was the lady working the front desk (I didn’t get her name) but she kept us informed on the wait time and was very friendly. We went in to see the triage nurse Macki pretty early on and she was so sweet and caring and kept us informed on how long and who was coming in next. When we got to the room the nurse came in and saw us right away, his name was Matt and he made sure to play with my little one and make him feel comfortable and silly. There was practically no wait for Dr. Goldblatt to come in and he was the icing on the cake. This was the most personable e.r. doctor I have EVER dealt with and it was a pleasure getting to meet him. He was very interactive with my son and took all the time we needed. None of them were in a rush to just get us through like we were another number and I appreciate that! That kind of service makes me appreciate the wait to get in a room a lot more.

Went in for cluster seizures and they discharged me while I was having them. The doctor felt since my postictal state was "short'...C'mon I have several seizures in one interval until they are complete postictal state is definitely not SHORT. Piedmont attached their name to a garbage hospital that treats the chronically ill like lying assed criminals. They will lie about your results..."everything looks good" I know they lied to me. Tarnishing the Piedmont name. WE ARE SYSTEMATICALLY ILL PATIENTS WHO SUFFER DAY IN & OUT. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. We don't want nothing but respect for trying to have quality of life. Treat the WHOLE patient.
