North Carolina Baptist Hospital

My husband is there right now stuck in "nurses decision holding". He was transferred from Iredell hospital to Baptist by ambulance at the decision of his oncologist. My husband had a 7 hour cancer surgery 10 days ago and is there with pneumonia. He arrived at 2am by ambulance and it is now 11am and still he sits in "holding" instead of being sent to the cancer center. Nine hours so far.... The staff is rude and act like you are a burden for requesting one update on your loved one. He is sick, fighting infection and pneumonia, recovering from cancer surgery, but their holding him in a area that is not private. Nurse said she asked another patitents family to step out so my husband could use the urinal. He shouldn't be held in an area like that in his condition. But they don't care. This hospital never cares about the patient. It's all about the money. It makes me scared for my loved one.

My mother had to stay 4 days everyone was so nice from Doctors to house keeping staff took good care of mom

I have a dear friend in the hospital there and they have taken such good care of her!

You never know what is happening with your loved one u less you stay 24/7. Unfortunately I couldn’t n my loved one passed away

Babtist hospital is always relabible and my son has been there many times, friendly staff. People really try and help you there. Parking is a little much but not bad.
