This rating is for the second floor women department only! I was a bit agitated at first because I was in so much pain. After my surgery was scheduled, approved, and complete. I was so relieved. Big shout to Dr. Dowell and her team for a successful surgery. My nurses Karrie, Amber, Rochelle, and Ann were freaking awesome!!! I wish y'all had more people like them throughout the whole Northcrest hospital especially in the ER. They made sure I was comfortable for the short time I was there. They checked in with me every so often to see if there was anything I needed. They didn't show any signs of frustration while caring for me which could be a hard task. Most of all, I felt like they truly cared for my well being. Thanks ladies!!❤️

Our ER visit FAR exceeded my expectations. We waited less than 1 minute from registration to triage. My kids were given one on one attention from excellent, professional, kid-friendly nurses and physicians. We got appropriate diagnostics for the chief complaints of my daughters that were tailored to their specific course of illness and age. The physician let me feel like a part of my kids' care team and allowed my input about how extensive I wanted testing to be. I even received a follow up call the next morning to check in on how my girls were feeling and to ask if we had a good experience. Everyone was thorough and efficient and I am very impressed by the care we received. We have only ever gone to Vanderbilt ER for our kids, we will now be going to northcrest instead.

My wife is currently sitting in ER. We have waited over an hour for an IV, that the doctor said she needed because her heart rate was elevated. After waiting that long, asked the person at the desk, and they said the doctor hasn’t even ordered it yet. Apparently the fluids aren’t that important. Wife had to pee, so they made her give a urine sample, because the nurse wasn’t sure if it was needed. They came in to do an ultra sound, that we told was supposed to be canceled, but no one told the ultra sound person. It’s been 45 minutes since we have asked to be discharged. They finally, as I’m typing this, came to remove the the IV connection from her arm, which never got the IV. We’ve been here for 3 hours and she now just was offered some water to drink. Will never come back here willingly.

The nurses at this hospital are like immature high school girls. I fell asleep with my newborn baby in the bed once (before anyone told me it was against the hospital policy), and I was swiftly corrected. Fine. I was in the Military; I need only be reminded or reprimanded ONCE. However, for the rest of the night when the nurses came in my room and I was clearly not asleep, they accused me of being asleep with my baby in the bed. I was “reminded” and woken up over a dozen times about the hospital policy when my baby was clearly in the CRIB. One of the managers came in the next morning and forced me to sign a form promising not to co-sleep. I was accused of lying and told that I was co-sleeping more than once when I was NOT. Conveniently... Our daughters paperwork was lost and never sent to the Social Security administration. Because of them, we never received a Social Security card for our child. My husband is in the military and now we are trying to attain this out of state. They have created a nightmare for our family. Despite the superior service provided by Vanderbilt Women’s Health near this hospital, and the incredible midwives, I would never recommend THIS hospital due to its immature, incompetent, petty nursing staff.

Always kind and responsive. Went in with a fractured finger tip and nail that had to be taken off and my nurse was so sweet and professional! Not to mention I was crushing on her so hard. Love me a redheaded sweetheart!
