Had outpatient surgery with Dr. Marberry yesterday and everything was great! All the staff I encountered were nice and explained what they were doing as they did it. My nurse I believe Jenny made everything so enjoyable. She joked and talked with me throughout the day and was very accommodating! Thank you to everyone for making my experience great!

My daughter had surgery with Dr. Marberry at NRMC. The Outpatient Surgery Staff is wonderful. My daughter was comfortable in surgery as well, thanks to the OR Staff. She said that the Anesthesia doctors and nurses talked her through everything they were doing. She was not scared at all thanks to everyone being so gentle with her. We appreciate such a competent facility with great staff so close to home.

We were very pleased with Dr. Marberry as well. He came to the bedside and talked to us prior to surgery, kept us updated through out the surgery and again after the surgery was over he came out and explained what they had found and what we needed to do to give her the best care at home.

We were very pleased with our care at NRMC.

Their staff isn't trained or qualified to take care of people with mental health issues. I had several nurses be incredibly rude to me because I was in for a suicide attempt. I spent about 20 hours in the emergency room before I was transferred to another hospital with a psych ward. This wasn't their fault. But the 20 hours I spent in the emergency room cost nearly twice as much as the week I spent in a psych ward, with insurance. One nurse made me wear ripped scrubs. One treated me like a lesser citizen due to the nature of my visit. She was going to just let me go. I had to nearly beg to be sent to psych ward because I knew it would happen again if they let me go. When my friend was taken to the ER by ambulance, the doctor flat out told her what was going and talked about her medical information with me in the room and without even asking her consent. Overall, way too expensive, mostly rude nurses, etc. Sadly, this is the only option for an emergency room that's close.

This hospital is absolutely terrible as everyone else has stated. The staff will literally argue with you over petty things, and show no professionalism in the work place. I will never be back.

Staff is great. However, they are VERY high price. They will run up a bill and take you to court the moment you miss a payment. I questioned the bill. They charged me an extended ER visit. Yes, I was in the ER for hours, however, it had to do with other circumstances. They were taking care of someone in critical condition. This I completed understand. I waited. The total time spent with me was about 30 minutes. Yet, they charged me for waiting. Ugh. You're better off going to Columbia or Hannibal for care.
