Northwest Hospital

I just wanted to say I went to the ER today I was experiencing extreme abdominal discomfort and everyone was so sweet and kind to me. I wanted to give special thanks to Cathrine Kerbie who was my triage nurse, she took my blood in what must have been in mere seconds (she is a literal pit crew when it comes to taking blood she is SUPER fast), she was very compassionate and comforting and helped put my mind at ease even though I was freaking out. Seton is my top choice and I will ALWAYS choose to go to them if possible.

My sister is currently in ICU at Seton Northwest Austin Going on her 10th day now. I cannot say enough about how amazing her care has been! She has had some of the most amazing nurses! Truly caring and compassionate. Marcy and David are two that have just gone above and beyond for us. They have definitely made a bad situation easier to deal with. Sometimes all superheroes don’t wear capes! Amazing .. simply amazing!

Post- operative experience is greatly lacking. Nurse forgets to bring items. General disregard for patients. Call buttons go unanswered. I can hear one just ringing and ringing. The food is appalling with sugars exceeding daily intake. No doctors in sight to answer questions or approve medications. Pre-operative care was good. My doctor is good but the aftercare spoils whatever good came before.

Pouring out some Drano I got to drop in my eye. this Hospital was very attentive and quit I saw an opthamologist within an hour of when I walked in this Hospital literally saved my eye

I had my daughter at this hospital. My OB was beyond amazing. The whole staff and nurses were really great! The only problem I had was with one of the nurses. Her name is Beth and she was working nights when I was there. She was good with my baby, but not with me. Her bedside manner was not good. Being a first time mom everything was a new learning experience, which seemed to her as an annoyance. She made me feel as if I was inadequate . Not a good feeling looking back at the birth of my first born and loving it except when I remember her. Also when I got the call to leave a review they didn't even tell me to put in my complaint. I had to tell them but I'm not sure if they did.
