One year ago today my daughter was born. From the moment we got there the nurses and doctors were extremely helpful and caring. During the birthing process there were complications that end up having a emergency c section. My wife in pain and I was scared out of my mind during this whole ordeal. Our doctor was Stacey Woods and thanks to him and the whole staff we are celebrating my daughter birthday. This review is long overdue. After the c section my wife was in a lot of pain. The amount of help we got from them cannot be described. I am truly thankful for this hospital that if we ever decide to have another baby this will be the place have it.
Best experiance I have ever had
Was impressed from the moment I arrived ... was giving directions to every where I needed to go for My CAT scan to directions on how to find the parking garage Was More Than pleased with the experience here Top Notch in my opinion...... Best In Charlotte
Service was fine, but expect dishonest billing from this hospital. I was charged several hundreds for a pharmacy fee for a little lidocaine for a procedure - a standard local anesthetic which costs next to nothing. Operating room service fees was over 3k, despite the fact that I was not seen in an operating room, rather in a radiology exam room. I’m told since it was a surgical procedure the OR fees are valid...why? I understand OR fees as I have operated in an OR myself, I understand what it takes to breakdown and set up the room. But for this appointment, I was in an exam room where setting up/flipping the room is nothing special. Spoke with customer service and I’m told there is no way to disputed any of my charges. Great, so now I’m stuck with a huge bill after insurance, and as a doctor myself, I know for certain that I am being ripped off. Thanks.
We delivered our first son at Novant Health Presbyterian and the staff, nurses, and doctors were amazing and consistently attentive. Our son had some minor complications that had him admitted quickly into the NICU. Being a first time Mom I was terrified and couldn't stand the thought of leaving the without him. They were kind, gracious, and very helpful.
They let us stay in our room as guests and then accommodated us in the family room for our last night. Our stay was much shorter than many other parents; but through our time we not only received great care, we also witnessed the same support and kindness for those around us. That was the hardest, most stressful moment of ours and many others lives and I couldn't have asked for a better group. We are happy to report our son just celebrated his 1st Birthday and is off the charts healthy!
Having to give 5 Stars I often think of the nurse I had Michelle back in 2014. The Love and Care she showed me when I came in alone to deliver my son was amazing she had a heart of gold and it meant the world to me that she just held my hand during that process wiped my tears and took pictures for us. I'm forever greatful and haven't forgotten her every time I celebrate my son's birthday I celebrate her. I know her compassion was effortless and wasn't out of pity for me because of my situation at the the time.
