Went in on Thursday morning after injuring my knee on Weds evening. Dr Bertrand P Fote was the one that walked in the room. Sent me for an X-ray and from that he determined it was a bruised knee. He didn’t touch examine heck I don’t even think he looked at it. It was swollen HUGE, I couldn’t walk on it and had been crying since the night before. I take pain well this thing HURT! He told nurse to put on leg brace and that was it, done! Mind you I could not put pressure on that leg without excruciating pain. He didn’t even give me crutches. Went home and iced and cried all night. Next day thank goodness orthopedic Dr squeezed me in. He immediately drained 60 mls of fluid from my knee. Instant relief!! He is sending for an MRI because he believes there is more wrong with it. And Dr reject said “bruised”. Maybe if he had actually examined it he would have done better. And they will charge for this while they caused me another day and a half of pain. Stay away from this place. I knew better but my boss drove me there because our office is in Thomasville . Last experience was awful too. Had husband there for two/three days and we took him out and went elsewhere. He had pneumonia and all Thomasville kept doing was ct scans and we don’t know. He recovered quickly elsewhere with proper care and medicines.

Absolutely horrible place. I would not recommend going here. I brought my mom the. She was crippled over in pain, blood pouring out her backside, vomiting, and freezing. They did a blood test and a cat scan, said nothing was wrong and sent her home and charged her $300.
The nurse told us that the only people that write bad reviews are druggies. Well we certainly are not and here's my bad review!

Went to the Baptist hospital in Lexington the next day, they did all the testing over again, gave ideas on what it could be ( where as the hospital in thomasville didn't have a clue, they just rulled out kidney stones and didn't test for anything else) and Lexington diagnosed her gave her everything she needed and sent her home!

I was at home and vomiting and in a great deal of pain in my left side. They triaged me as quick as possible. It was a wait but they had several ambulabces and the way a family was acting, i assumed someone died. So i did not mind the wait because they were swamped. I still did not wait too long maybe an hr. I got back there and the dr Chamberlain came in and was amazing! He was very attentive, thorough. I was diagnosed with a kidney stone. He did his best to get me out of pain and meds for nausea. Kidney stone pain is hard to control but he did great. He asked if he could pray with us, of course i said yes. I LOVED that! My nurse was a young girl and i was nervous about her starting an iv and i was slightly dehydrated. She done great. I am impressed and thankful. I feel some better. Dr. Chamberlain was great. Smart man and great bedside manner. My nurse was a sweet and attentive lady. Thanks so much!

This hospital is the absolute best! My mother was here for a condition we have been battling and I just wanted to say they have the best staff I have ever seen in an emergency room! The rooms and all the floors were super clean and the bathrooms were well kept. From when we walked in until we got discharged Everyone was super friendly and came by to check on us every hour!!! Thank you Thomasville medical center for all that y'all have done keep up the good work and God bless
