The care I received was fantastic and the staff was compassionate, friendly and informative. Dr. Pham was so kind and explained everything to me. Bill took charge and stayed with me, He was so kind and talked to me to keep me calm and informed. Best ER team ever!!!! I also have to give kudos to Susan in the lab because I never felt her stick the needle in my arm- she is the best I have ever seen (and that’s a lot). She is my go to girl when I have to get more blood drawn!!

The Richmond TX facility is great, the ER personnel is amazing and until I got my bills I would have probably given them 5 stars, but now that I have received all my bills all I have to say is: Buyer be aware of the ER Doctors!!!!! Dr. Va saw me for no more than 10 minutes and he billed my insurance $1,723. Because I have a high deductible amount I ended up with a bill of $1,650, when I called to negotiate this crazy amount, they REFUSED to negotiate with me because I have insurance. Not sure why they think having insurance means I can afford to pay Dr. Va ridiculous bill! Rose-rich emergency physicians and Dr. Va are just a legalize way of robbery. I can't imagine that seeing someone for 10 minutes is worth that much money. I will NEVER go back to this place to ensure I don't have to deal with these doctors. Paying for this doctor is not worth the great service everyone else provides, he was more expensive than the actual ER room where I was for about 3 hours

We have become unpleasantly accustomed that our visits to a Hospital, Medical Clinic, Laboratory or Doctor’s Office means dealing with an uninspired Staff while being kidnapped into Waiting Rooms long past the scheduled appointment time. So imagine my nice surprise when everything about OakBend Medical Center proved entirely the opposite. I was greeted politely in Registration. I was immediately escorted into a dedicated Hospital Administrator’s office who actually pleasantly assisted me with all the usual paperwork and forms. Given all that geniality, I arrived in the Laboratory for my tests well ahead of schedule. Nevertheless, I was immediately called back for my tests where the Laboratory Technician was a model of friendliness, competence and efficiency. As a result, I was completely finished and back in my car 45 minutes sooner than I expected having enjoyed a best-in-class medical experience at the hands of the caring and professional Staff. I commend OakBend Medical Center for their excellent service and only wish more healthcare facilities could learn from their wonderful example of the right way to treat their patients.

Very welcoming and professional atmosphere.. The personnel truly care about your recovery and quick to address any issues you may be having with physicians, insurance and/or documents. Top of my list for physical therpy facilities.

Parking is the one negative, it is sometimes difficult to find a spot. Otherwise I like the facility. My doctor there, Dr. Mayank Parikh, is a good guy with a good staff. I've also been to their physical therapy unit and they're all good people too.
